Item is as described
This party light DJ Disco show is fun for younger kids trying to have a party. The item came exactly as described and I would say works pretty well and is easy to use. As far as the cost you are definitely getting a good value for the buck, just keep in mind that this is not a laser show like one would see at a rave. This displays different types of little symbols and designs and it's fun to use but it's not like a laser show like you might be thinking at a bigger concert. It works really well if you have a fog machine and a smaller size room.

Music party must have!
Must have for any party or music lover! Lights are on point to the beat of the music. Bought for a friend's birthday party and ended up gifting it to her. Came back to buy myself one! Can't rave enough about this thing. Lights filled the whole room.

Amazing little light show
When this came we opened it right away. Initially I was disappointed because it looked too small to do much. Was I ever wrong! This is an incredible little gadget. It does sync up with the music, the lights are bright and patterns are clear. There are different modes and settings but if you put it on auto it just does an awesome repeat pattern that syncs up with the music. I am so pleased with it I can't help but think of all the people I could gift one to. If you're thinking about buying it just do it. You won't be disappointed with the quality at such a great price. (Less than 40 bucks!).

Returned mine, but...
It puts out a lotta light show for the price. I returned it because the music mode requires the volume to be pretty insanely loud before the light begins responding to sound. Once it does, though I was impressed with the visuals. And in Auto mode it doesn't look that terrible to music either. I also wish it had more capability for static looks I found sort of a hack by slowing the speed way down then hitting 'motor stop' but it needs a 'Static' button for each color laser that would just scroll through each of the patterns. Other suggestions for the manufacturer: -Have separate speed controls for the pattern rotation and pattern switches. For example, I'd love to have the pattern spinning quickly but each pattern staying up for 5 or 10 seconds or more. -Replace the snowflakes with other patterns. They make it too Christmas / winter-specific. -The switch and button on the back of the unit are strange. I never really figured out how they work. The remote seems to completely override them, which is odd.

Great Lights Great Customer Service
Great lights and great customer service! We have all been impressed with how the lights fill a room and offer different settings that fit different moods. I had a question about the remote and the customer service went above and beyond to provide a resolution that far exceeded my expectations --the kind of experience that restores a little faith in mankind.

This is a Class 3B (IIIb) Laser
This party laser is super cool. Its bright and has cool image rotations. Now with that said. I just purchased this device and noticed that many that are sold are Class 3B (IIIb) lasers. There should be warning in the ads or inside of the box on how to handle them as they might be dangerous to your or your party guests eyes. WHAT IS A CLASS 3B LASER? Class 3B lasers are hazardous for eye exposure. They can heat skin and materials but are not considered a burn hazard. For visible-light lasers, Class 3B lasers' output power is between 5 and 499 milliwatts. Class 3B is the same as the Roman numeral "Class IIIb" you may see on some lasers' labels. At this website, we primarily use the Arabic numerals, for convenience. SAFE USE GUIDANCE - GENERAL Class 3B visible-beam lasers are medium powered, from 5 to 499 milliwatts. A Class 3B laser can cause eye injury. The more powerful the laser, the greater the chance of injury. Use of laser protective eyewear is suggested or recommended (depending on the laser's power level), as discussed elsewhere on this page. A Class 3B laser can be a distraction, glare or flashblindness hazard for pilots and drivers. NEVER aim any laser towards an aircraft or vehicle that is in motion. This is unsafe and is illegal -- you could be arrested and jailed. Always be aware of the beam location. Keep it away from people's eyes and heads. Watch out for reflected beams from glass and shiny surfaces. When outdoors, you must avoid aiming at or near aircraft. ONLY ALLOW USE BY RESPONSIBLE PERSONS This is not a toy. Children should not be permitted to use Class 3B lasers. Any teenager using a Class 3B laser should be continuously supervised by a responsible adult. A number of teenagers have caused eye injuries to themselves or others by misusing Class 3B and Class 4 lasers. DO NOT USE AS A LASER POINTER Class 3B (and 4) lasers are too powerful to be used as pointers. Some Class 3B (and 4) lasers may look like pointers, but these should not be used for pointing. Use a Class 2 (less than 1 mW) or Class 3R (less than 5 mW) laser for pointing purposes.

DC adapter failed after 1 day. Its REALLY cheap. Luckily I had a universal switching power supply and set it to 5V with a 3.5mm barrel plug and it was able to get this thing working. But how inconvenient is that? You need to use your own power adapter or hope the cheap one it comes with works? Further more I bought this model specifically because it says it runs off of 5V and 1A. So I bought a USB-3.5MM barel adapter hoping I could run this thing off USB power (to make it portable). That was a fail however as doing so just slightly spins up the fan inside and it just emits a faint red light. I then tried building my own cable and got the same results. I used a multimeter and confirmed with different USB batteries I had that they were all outputting 5V and 1A. However there was a slight voltage drop happening. I built a double USB connection cable with a potentiometer to make sure I gave it enough juice but the same issue, with voltage fluxing everywhere. Inside its pretty hollow but all the components (motor, IR sensor, fan, ect) are all connected to the mainboard with pin connectors rather than soldered directly, so that was nice. The lasers themselves are standard brightness, works faintly in the light and well at night. The green shows various patterns and the red circles around a smaller area. Overall I would have gone with one of those red and green crisscross patterns had I known I wouldn't be able to get this working off of USB power. So should you buy this? Its up to you. My review here provides more information than you will find in the description and if you think its still worth it then go ahead
