Weber 17670 Lighter Cube, 4 x 18 x 20 cm

We love Weber BBQ products and this one doesn’t disappoint. The lighter cubes are perfect for getting the BBQ going and don’t have an over powering toxic smell which we have found with outer fire lighters in the past.

These are a decent size - one cube lights the Weber chimney fine - and as they're individually packaged in combustible wrapping they're easy to handle and they catch very easily. I also like the resealable bag which keeps them neat and tidy. Maybe a little expensive for something you're going to set fire to, but the fact you only need one cube helps compensate for that.

Does the trick without fail. I’m a noob BBQ’er; before I met these boys I was crumpling up newspaper beneath my chimney bucket and getting mixed results (+ a lot of smoke). Fed up, I bought these to help give me one less thing to worry about. These are great and do the job without fail. Weber recommends using 3x cubes for each set of coals you wish to light (they work so well I’m interested to see if 2x cubes could do the trick). Only downside is that they still let off a bit of stinky smoke for a minute or so (not great if, like me, you live in mid terrace and neighbours have their windows open).

These are definitely the best fire starters out there, way way better than the supermarket ones. A little pricier but you won’t regret it!

So easy and safe to use without the smell and aftertaste of other firelighters.

Burn out is good enough to get the coals up to heat using a chimney.

Wir haben schon viele verschiedene anzündwürfel ausprobiert, aber sind einfach von denen von Weber begeistert. Sie brennen super und zünden die Kohle oder auch das Holz im Karmin prima an. Wir kaufen nur noch diese.
