Finally a Harness That Looks the Same as in Product Photos!
After ordering a few different vests, including some from these companies, I noticed a fair amount of them don't actually end up looking the same in person as they do in the product pictures you see online. HOWEVER, this one looks EXACTLY like it does in the photos which is great because that's why I ordered it! It not only looks amazing but the fabric also feels very soft and plush yet sturdy and durable at the same time. It perfectly matches my dog's colors, fits relatively well (although I've still yet to find a vest that fits perfectly) and feels like it is going to last a long time which is great because I use this just about every single day when walking my dog or taking her for rides in the car (of course with the vest hooked up to a backseat seat belt) or keeping her latched in the doggy backpack/carrier while walking about in public. Really can't beat this specific vest for the price. Will probably continue to be my dog's default vest for the foreseeable future so I will update if there are any issues or on how long it lasts. So far going on 3 months without any issue or sign of wear. My dog also seems to like it too, which she can be picky about her vests, so that's always a good thing! Anyway, hope this helps

Appears to be comfortable for dog.
Nicest harness I’ve bought. It’s soft & sturdy & easy to put on. Be sure to pay attention to sizing. I thought our small dog would wear a small or medium, but the sizing information indicated large, which I ordered. It fits him like a glove.

Best harness, paws down.
The media could not be loaded. FOUR-YEAR UPDATE: This is the only brand of dog harness I will ever buy or recommend. Three months after my last update, we took in a paralyzed foster terrier when all of the local shelters went into COVID lockdown overnight. That spiraled out of control quickly. Since then we’ve fostered more than 30 dogs with intensive care needs, most fully or partially paralyzed from spinal injuries.Very often our fosters need to wear a harness 24/7 for safety, especially newly disabled dogs who need a service human to help navigate their environment. These are so comfortable for round-the-clock wear, even for allergy prone dogs or those with sensitive skin. These also work well in conjunction with the standard Walkin’ Wheels chest harness for dogs that don’t like the Walkin’ Warrior harness. I put the Voyager harness on first, then the wheelchair chest strap. It’s a very snug, comfortable fit that usually keeps everything properly aligned. Most of our fosters are lowriders with some degree of bladder/bowel incontinence, which makes for A LOT of laundry. It’s very rare that we can use a harness more than 2-3 days in a row without washing. There’s almost always a freshly washed load of harnesses hanging to dry, with plenty of clean ones in the bin ready to go. These Voyager harnesses take a relentless licking and just keep ticking.I’ve now purchased more than 50 of these in every size from XS to XL, and even one XXXS for my best friend’s itty bitty kitty who’s a frequent houseguest. I have yet to find a dog breed under 35 lbs. that can’t fit into one of these. Dachshunds, terriers, yorkies, chihuahuas, poodles, poms, maltese, cockers, frenchies—you name it, I’ll put a Voyager harness on it.ONE-YEAR UPDATE: These harnesses are INCREDIBLE. Two weeks after my original review, our little man had spinal surgery when he suddenly became paralyzed, then did 10 months of intensive rehab to learn how to walk again. He wore a harness 24/7 for the first few months post-op and still has to wear a harness most of the time now so we can help support his weight as needed. This harness evenly distributes pressure along his sternum and upper ribcage (not his neck or weaker lower ribs) and the lining is soft enough that he's able to wear it comfortably 16+ hours every day without chafing. I've purchased a total of 12 in small and medium, to fit with and without sweaters underneath. He has some mild incontinence issues, so we often have to change his harness once or twice a day and the entire lot gets washed at least 2-3x weekly. The ones I purchased a year ago have held up beautifully even with our intense wash and wear lifestyle. I can't recommend these enough.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Let me preface this by saying that our doxie was in really bad shape when we rescued him. He was severely emaciated, missing huge patches of fur from prolonged malnutrition and his skin was insanely fragile, especially along his belly and under his front legs. So began the quest for a harness secure enough for a squirrel chaser but soft enough not to tear his skin. After a few false starts, I found this padded harness with faux fur lining. This is the best harness I've tried, even among some of the most expensive brands. Most of those brands have some sort of durable nylon material edging along the leg holes, which rubbed against his most fragile skin in the legpit(???)/elbow area. The lining on this harness is SOOOOOOOO soft on his skin and the faux fur edging along the leg holes was exactly what we needed to prevent chafing and tearing in his tender bits. This would be an excellent choice for older dogs or dogs with skin conditions that require softer material in the rubby spots. Originally I purchased two small harnesses, which fit a little loosely over sweaters at 9lbs. Now at 13lbs, the small fits his chest perfectly and a medium fits snugly over sweaters. And it launders beautifully! His gear gets gross so quickly being so close to the ground, I have to wash his sweaters and harnesses at least weekly. I toss these in the washer on a regular cold cycle in lingerie bags, then hang to dry in the bathroom overnight.

Great, other than one small thing
This harness is great, soft for my dog, thick (width-wise) to help with a firm hold. It looks nice. Idk why it took me this long to get a black harness for my black dog. Now it doesn’t look dirty from his shedding. My only issue with this is that the 2 metal rings that are on either side of the back clip, which comes together to secure the harness, are a little too far apart. It makes it a bit of an issue every time I clip the leash back on. I could just clip one ring because my dog is 13 lbs, but I’d like to clip both rings like I’m supposed to. I don’t think this would be as big of an issue if he didn’t need to wear a jacket in the winter. The hooks are hiding through the hole in the jacket and it takes too long to secure both metal hooks so I’m always locking him on one side, unevenly pulling him back on one side.If your dog doesn’t wear any clothing over his harness, this shouldn’t really affect you, but my chihuahua gets so cold in the winter.

Flexible size
I got a slightly larger size for my mini-schauzer puppy. It is too big for him, but the velcro allows it to fit him now and while he grows. He hates collars of any kind, but this one doesn't seem to bother him too much. So this was a good purchase.

Runs small but love it.
This is only going to work for puppies or small dogs. I got a L for my golden retriever when he was 3 months and he has already grown out of it by 5 months. That being said, its a cute and well made harness for a great price. It stays on with the velcro and buckle, and its super easy to remove/put on (much preferred to the ones with adjustable straps and multiple buckles!) Can put it on a wiggly puppy in like 15-20 seconds haha.

Comfy and Secure
We were originally using nylon harnesses for our 3 morkie pups but however well-fitting we tried to make them, they seemed adept at rolling around, and backing out of them. Because they are growing, they constantly need adjusting and getting them exactly right is a challenge. One in particular didn't seem to like wearing hers. These are much easier to put on - just plonk their front paws in the holes and life it up around them, and because they are velcro they fit perfectly every time (even though the size we got is slightly too big for a couple of them, but they'll grow into them in a couple of weeks). The pups are much happier wearing them and with the summer coming to a close it will be nice to have something a little warmer. They look quite chic, with their fur coats on.There's a generous amount of velcro and the plastic slide in buckle is quite large and sturdy (as are the D rings to attach the leash to) so I don't think there will be any issue with durability.
