I did a lot of research before going for this and now I am proud of myself for choosing this. I am 100% satisfied with the product. the mic is a complete set which is the only thing that you need for a professional recording. this is a plug and play mic which means all you need to do is to connect it in the USB port of your desktop or laptop. Don't have a pc? no problem, you can connect this thing to a mobile phone using a OTG adapter. the Realtek adapter that this mic has is a great boon as you don't need to download any additional software or any drivers. so, what are all the things that comes with the mic mic capsule shock mount pop filter wind foam boom arm table attachment USB cables cables managers(x2) booklets overall, this is a complete package which can be used for a lot of purposes which includes gaming, YouTube videos, singing, content creation, video calls, podcast, video voice over, etc.... almost all the parts are made out of solid metal and it really gives you an amazing premium feel when you touch it. the microphone is completely built out of metal and will give you an amazing solid feel if you held it in your hand. the microphone has a cardioid pattern which means it only takes the sound form your side and won't take any other unnecessary noise from the outside which is not in the range of the mic I live near a busy road and this mic works great by not picking up any unnecessary noise from the road. so, an important aspect of any sound product is the sound quality. well in that case the mic has an amazing audio quality. the vocals are crisp and clear. the included pop filter and the wind foam helps with the distortion. the shock mount really works well. you won't' get any disturbances even if you touched your mic while recording. over all this is a bang for a buck. worth every penny. better than a lot of other microphones within the same range. and even better when compared to a lot of costly mics out there. this is definitely worth considering. This is my first mic and I'm a beginner so my review may not be as technical as some experts. The mic has been working fine for me for over a month now and here's the list of things you should know about the product. 1) Build quality is great for the 2)The stand on which the mic rests moves to much. So you need to be careful while recording. 3) Sound quality is good for the price. You may get distortion if you get too close and if you turn the gain down to record. The voice recorded will be too base heavy. 4) Works with smartphones and laptops. 5) Pop filter provided does not reduce that much sudden air blows. But still good for what you pay. 6)The raw sound is not that much good. So you need a bit of tweaking in audio editing softwares. Overall, if you get this one for around Rs. 3000-4000, then its a great microphone. Above that, it isn't as appealing as you can get some pretty awesome mics like Samson's etc. So tight budget ones, go for it!

The product is amazing, I have spent 1 year with it with some problems, the sound quality is good enough for this price range.. but if you saw YouTube videos and are thinking about purchasing this or any other Condenser microphone, let me tell you, those videos do not consider the noise in India. If you live in a place where there is constant noise of construction, utensils being washed, kids playing and tv playing in your other room, then you will never be able to record with this microphone, no matter what. I record YouTube and Udemy courses and due to the sensitivity of this mic I have been recording at night, which isn't always favourable because sometimes I am tired and sometimes I am so full after dinner that I can't sound natural and on the days when I feel like recording it catches the sound of dogs barking at around 100-200 meters away from me and I live on the 3rd floor. If utensils are being washed or someone even knocks at the door, this mic will pick that up, and if you try to increase the gain, then there is a lot of static noise. If you live in India in a noisy place, do not buy this or any other condenser mic unless your room is acoustically treated, if not then go with a dynamic microphone such as Rode Procaster. To give you a perspective, my Kitchen is about 10 feet away from my room, and if at night someone wakes up and goes to the kitchen and puts a steel glass on the kitchen sink, this mic records that sound as if the sink was right next to me. And these small peaks in the sound makes the whole recording process tiresome as then I have to wait for the other person to sleep and then have to re-record videos.

Amazing amazing mic. Bought this 5 years ago and it's still going strong. I have recorded multiple songs on this and released on spotify and no one could tell that it's a podcasting mic. It's all about good mixing. The stand and pop filter are also of amazing quality. This mic is too good to be true. Go for it if you are looking for something really good at a cheap price.

Absolutely Disappointed with Amazon’s Irresponsibility! I purchased a microphone from Amazon, and this has turned out to be the most frustrating experience ever. The product is not working at all despite trying it on three different mobiles and one laptop. When I reached out to Amazon for support, they simply washed their hands off and told me to contact the seller directly. For the past three days, I have been trying to reach the seller, but there is no valid contact number and absolutely no response from them. Amazon, being the platform, should hold accountability, but they clearly don’t. Instead, they are pushing customers into a dead end. Customers should be very careful before buying such products. Always double-check the description box because once you get stuck with a faulty product, Amazon will show zero responsibility. On top of this, the one-month EMI scheme is another trap. They partner with Axio (their lending partner), and if extra EMI is debited, Amazon conveniently says it’s not their problem. Their customer care team is clueless, helpless, and not ready to take ownership of these issues. This entire experience shows how Amazon has shifted from being a customer-first platform to a company that just shrugs off responsibility. Extremely disappointed and will think twice before buying electronics from Amazon again

Ok ok... Not good not bad.. USB mic gives you portability to just plug and play.. Mic is not for singing use.. Too much sensitive mic.. record background noise. works on windows/mac both. No noise cancellation.

March, 2019: Awesome mic for the budget! At ₹2499 for the full kit, it is a steal. It is a condenser with USB B to A wire (has a ferrite core on the cable). The sound quality is wayy better than others in that price range, coupled with a full kit makes it a steal. The packaging was good and it reached in one piece. Awesome mic all in all, kudos for providing high quality at a cheap-ish price point. So yes it ain't perfect; some cons- Since it is a USB condenser microphone(not a dynamic one) it is very sensitive and picks picks up a very large spectrum of sound (needs to be used with a compressor, noise gate to make it perfect) and an isolated room really helps it. And would point out that the shock mount is a bit flimsy but it holds up well. My personal opinion is that you should go for it definitely, the whole kit is a steal. You know a microphone is good if the only complaint against it is it's shock mount ;-) 3rd year update(March, 2022): Since some people have dm'ed me on insta for an update, I'd like to add that the mic still works like a charm. I've shifted 3 cities but it has given me no problems. It's a shame that others didn't get it at the cheaper price that I paid, still the price is justified as market for cheaper mics is dominated by this brand only.

Maono AU-A04 is a good mic to start with, if you are looking for a good mic with a low budget then this is one of the best to go with. My Mic all of a sudden stopped working after 2 months, I raised an issue with the Maono support, we tried to resolve the issue but it didn't worked for us, so they are issuing a refund to me. There customer support team is really super helpful, they go up and down to help you out.
