This is my second purchase of these bulbs. They are a very good quality bulb with a nice light output. I purchased this second set for a jukebox I refurbished. The first set is still going strong, no issues. So, purchased the second set. A few days later, the bulb started blinking. Reached out to customer support and they asked for a picture of the ballast which I did send in. They replied that the old magnetic ballast was too strong and had to be replaced with an electronic ballast or to go with a type b bulb bypassing the ballast altogether. What I didn’t realize was that the magnetic ballast was also a source of hum that was driving me nuts. In any event, they stood by their product, shipped out another LED bulb very quickly. They also know their stuff and helped me solve an issue with electronic hum as well. Would definitely do business with them again.

It’s very bright! Great with my medicine cabinet. Helps a lot when you shave. You can better see where you missed!

About every 5 years I have had to replace the standard florescent bulb on my GE electric range, (I leave it on 24/7.) This bulb is really bright, but starts right up. I first installed the bulb with the LED strip on top, (facing down) which was far to bright in my application, by rotating it 180 degrees, with the LED strip on the bottom and facing up, made the bulb appear slightly less, but still very bright. There is a noticeable hum now coming from, what I believe to be the ballast, which wasn't there with the florescent bulb, so at some point I need to gain access to the ballast and swap it out for an electronic ballast.I would recommend this to anyone looking to replace their florescent bulb. I have found them increasingly hard to find since they are a niche item.

These are a great replacement bulb to give life to old fixtures.I used it in a bathroom above the sink. It instantly comes on and it has so far been reliable.You can't see the individual LED spots, but the bulb is directional. Like a bar inside the housing with LEDs on one side. It can be just a little too bright if you use it somewhere low and naked, light a bathroom vanity, because the light is more condensed into a bright row than the old type bulbs.I took off one star because the 3000k bulb seems to be way to "Warm" colored. The label on it said 3k, but it may have been mislabeled? Or maybe the 3k is just going to be a little warmer than you expect.

Made my cook machine come back to life. These bulbs are very hard to find and expensive but so worth it.

This LED replacement for F18T8 28" is great. I have been waiting for this to come along and will be ordering several more (I initially ordered just one to test out). This light is much brighter than expected and produce a clean vibrant look. I am using this product on a 1960's era Herman Miller C.S.S. shelving system and did not want to rewire or completely replace the original lighting system in order to keep its original integrity. I can only say good things about this LED replacement at this point. Two things that I noticed when relamping are #1 the ends of the tube are plastic and just a little bit bigger in diameter than the tubes they are replacing and it can be a little tight. #2 the ballast seems to be running a little hotter than with the old tube. I am not overly concerned with that, but it is just an observation. New York LED Luminaries has a great product and they apparently have pretty good customer service too. I have received 2 follow ups. They genuinely seem to care. Gotta like that!
