Awesome heater with A+ customer service
First of all they are fan heaters so there is some fan noise but not nearly as annoying like cadet squirrel cage designs. They heat up fast with minimal ticking due to metal expansion and somehow draw low amperage compared to others of same wattage. They are big but they also move massive air amounts. They can be wired at half wattage by just removing a jumper and can be wall thermostat controlled without removing the internal thermostat (just set it to max). One unit had damage due to the grill mounted backwards during packing which damaged the thermostat and grill. The company (which is completely amazing) took my information and had replacement parts to me in less than a week. With a product of this caliber and customer service of this greatness during a time of Covid and shortages I can honestly recommend this product and company. Worth every single cent. Great job Broan-NuTone! Thank you Amazon for carrying this brand and product! I love you guys! ❤️

Nice way to add heat to a room---somewhat noisy operation however
I purchased this when I turned my attached house garage into a living area. Running ductwork from my existing forced air home central heating system was impractical for this, so I decided to install these wall units.Installation was fairly easy. I installed two of these units wired in parallel, using the 220 volt option (although you can set them up to run on 120 volts), and controlled by one thermostat. However you can also use the built-in thermostat to control each unit individually, if desired. Some wiring skill required to set them to 220. Also you have to cut and splice some wires if you use an external thermostat. You need to use the recommended Honeywell thermostat--an old fashioned "snap action" bi-metallic type of contact thermostat--wired into one leg of the 220 volt line. I had wanted to use a more modern, more sensitive, timed "electronic" thermostat. However I bought two of them, and couldn't get it to work properly. So better stick with the thermostat they recommend in the installation literature. (Honeywell CT410B).The units put out plenty of heat, at least on 220 volts. Enough to keep my former (and now well insulated) garage warm even where I live (Nebraska), and without running excessively.I do think the forced air fans are fairly noisy. Enough to drown-out the audio on my TV when it is on.

Nice!
Best price I could find for this heater, and it was the closest size to what the old one was.

Terrible
Purchased back on 11/2/19 and has stopped working already.

Pretty but noisy!
It looks wonderful in my bathroom and heats very well. The only problem is that it is noisy. I called the Broan company and he said if the blade was bent, or some other thing, then they would replace it. I haven't had a chance to look into that yet. I wanted that size because of my space.

wish it had some dampening behind the case
bought it to replace same model when the motor that was 'permanently lubricated' became not lubricated. The heat aspect is great - it doesn't start the fan until there is heat to give, and it uses up the surplus heat at the end of the cycle. However, the motor could be smoother and it would be great to put some sound dampening material behind the case for less of an echo on the fan noise. Initially, by the next day some of the wires had moved up and touched the fan, not a good scene when the wife heard it. How about a little more attention to detail inside too, folks? It seems odd that one of its features is you can cut its heat output in half, which seems only useful if you find you have wasted your money on a too-large unit in the first place.

Sixteen years
Just replaced the old one. It lasted 16 years. We bought the same brand again, so we could just use the heater, to place into the old "box" we saved in the wall. Fits perfectly.

No off button! Won’t stop!
So we have installed this unit yesterday but the fan won’t stop by itself? We need to turn off the braker is this supposed to be like that?
