I received a used/refurbished/returned item, not a new one as ordered, but these two lanterns are worth keeping. I really like the remote control, and love the realistic flickering. The box came with 3 of the 4 required batteries (each lantern needs 2), and oddly, two extra battery hatches. Weird, but again, for the price it's worth keeping. Each lantern has a decent paint job and if I want to change it at all, a little spray paint will turn them into completely different looks.If I need more lanterns like these, I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

It’s so pretty on, love that it has a timer and it flickers or you could have a steady light! I rather the flicker effect makes it look real! Would like to purchase more

I purchased these lanterns in the spring to use on my deck. I loved them and my wife and I incorporated them into our Halloween decorations. We received several compliments and inquiries as to where we purchased them. We are now using them as part of out Christmas decorations. The lanterns have a realistic look especially when using the flame effect setting. I was skeptical about them being waterproof and able to withstand the elements as they are so lightweight. However after leaving them out from mid September until after Halloween , thru several storms they continue to look and work like new. This company provides excellent customer service and I would not hesitate to purchase any of their products. I highly recommend these lanterns as they worked flawlessly and provided a very warm ambiance .

Very nice look, amazing “gas light” flickering effect. A little small for a driveway entrance, but OK for a porch or post. Plastic housing, leaks a little. Batteries lasted about two months at four hours per night.Will definitely attract attention!

I want to have "faith" in these lanterns as they look nice. Maybe I received 2 defective lanterns because neither responds well to the remote. Even when I turn to the "on" position manually, the lanterns hesitate to come on, if they come on at all. It's like there is a shortage or something in the switch or led mechanism. Disappointed.Updated May 29, '21....So, the company agreed to ship out another set to me. However, the remote version was no longer in stock. So, I asked them to just send me the non-remote version, as I needed them for an event. The shipment NEVER arrived! I contacted the company several times to resolve. While the company was timely in their responses, they really didn't help resolve the issue. They did offer a refund, however. I CANNOT recommend this product..and would NOT order again. Seems to be some serious quality control issues with the product and apparently some issues with their shipping as well. Flat out frustrating experience.

I bought three sets of the lantern to use in a winter wedding. The product arrived on time. The lanterns were a good size and appear to be very durable. The lanterns have a finish that would complement many decors. The "flame" was larger than expected, very robust and provided a sufficient amount of light to be visible on a partly cloudy afternoon. The remote was very useful as I could use one remote to turn on the all lanterns at one time, which was very convenient. All I needed to decorate the lanterns was a medium-sized bow in wedding colors attached to the top ring. In fact, the bride liked the lanterns so much that she took four of them home. I can recommend this product.

I bought two sets of these lanterns. They are absolutely beautiful. The flame is so realistic. I had a neighbor actually knock on the door because it look like there was a fire in the house lol. The remote is small and easily hidden in the drawer, but works great. I do not know how these would perform outdoors but inside they’re so beautiful ….highly recommend!

If you are lucky enough to get these to arrive intact. They are a fantastic little lantern. Nice soft fire light glow and the remote is perfect. I really wanted six of these, but only one package arrived intact. The other two had broken glass and smashed boxes. The packaging was very poor.
