Season it your food..
You have to remember, it's not traditional tuna. You have to season it to taste. Goes well when making Macaroni and tuna salad. Add onions, celery, Nori Flakes, and other seasonings. Really delicious when hooked up correctly...

Great tuna replacement
I've been a veghead for decades now and one thing I've missed is the protein in macaroni salad. I mean, it's good without tuna or chicken, which is how I've been eating it... Forever it seems, but, gosh! When I found Tuno and eagerly made my first batch, I was so excited to try it! I took it with me to a potluck and told everyone it was a vegan substitute for tuna. People were worried, but a few brave soldiers tried it and they loved it! As did I, which is good, since I had three more cans of it at home 😂. Everyone told me they couldn't tell it wasn't tuna. If I hadn't told them, they wouldn't have known (except that I was eating it). The texture was basically the same as tuna, flakey and chunky. It didn't really have a fishy smell, but it certainly did NOT have a bad smell. The cans are smaller than a regular tuna can, so it is a little expensive, but that's the way of most vegan products these days. Maybe one day vegan and vegetarian products (and here I mean prepared products, not fresh ingredients) will cost the same or less than carnivorous products. Until then, those of us on a tight budget can still eat cheaper by eating beans and rice, fresh veggies, etc. There are so many more vegetarian (and especially vegan) products available now than when I started my journey, when there was one brand of soy milk and no other milk alternatives. Knowing that they've come so far with that, I have faith that more products will become available and prices will come down making them more affordable. Don't be afraid to try this. It's good to have a well stocked pantry

Delicious Vegan Tuna
I used to purchase Sophie's Tuna when it was available and loved it. I'm so glad to have found this new brand. I'm very happy and satisfied with the taste, texture and quality of this vegan Tuna. I'm also gluten free and this was an added plus. I prepared it using vegan mayo, green onions and seasoning. It was absolutely delicious. The only suggestion is I wish it was shredded a little more. Awesome product. I'm already sharing it with people I know!

Vegan CAT FOOD
Meow, meow, meow, meow. Meow, meow, meow, meow. Meow, meow, meow, meow. Meow, meow, meow, meow. Open the can. Look inside. What does it look and smell like? Purina cat chow! Finally, thank God, someone has created a vegan cat food. We are all saved. It tastes awful. However, I did this. I put the cat chow in a strainer and rinsed the cat food flavor out of it using cold, running water. Then, I put it in a bowl and mixed it with Hellman's vegan mayo. After that, I was able to use it as usual as a replacement for tuna in my salads and sandwiches and it wasn't bad. I'm still on the lookout for a better vegan tuna product, though. I don't have a cat.

Drain, season and prepare!! Thank me later ❤️
Okay so I’ve decided the bad reviews are from people who do not Know how cook or know how to season. My friend even said this was horrible but i wanted to try for myself and thank god i did. First off even real tuna is not consistent in texture and who the hell eats tuna out of a can without seasoning or anything? Psychopaths, that’s who. Regular tuna which i use to eat religiously always looked and smelt like cat food so y’all tripping. I just made the most amazing vegan tuna melt and it totally satisfied my pregnancy craving for tuna melts. This is what you do with vegan and regular tuna. Thank me later. Drain the can of the oil and liquid, then put the “tuna” in a bowl with 2-3 tbsps of vegan mayo, garlic powder, onion powder, dehydrated onions, dill, celery salt, regular salt, white pepper, black pepper and i put shredded vegan dill havarti and mixed it all up then put it on vegan gluten free naan but you can use any bread you like and topped it with more cheese. Baked it on 375 for 12 minutes and then you have literal heaven in your mouth. Yes it doesn’t have the texture of tuna and it’s a little more chewier but there’s no vegan product out there that taste like it’s non vegan counterpart, chicken, beef, cheese literally anything. It’s never going to taste the same so get that out of your head. Go in with no expectations and you’ll be overjoyed. But this is the closest you’ll get and with proper preparation, it will satisfy your cravings.

I LIKE THIS PRODUCT!
I have been a vegetarian for 30 years and am always seeking out seafood and meat "substitutes." I purchased this tuna various times over the years and it has generally been okay with me as I am primarily seeking protein. Recently, they must have changed the recipe, and I am happy to say that it is now the best plant-based tuna I have ever purchased. This is a product for those who does not want to eat flesh food. Understand that it may not taste "exactly" like tuna, but the texture is good, and it is a good protein source. Drain all of the water out before using and it works well. If you keep producing this product, I will keep buying it!

As a vegetarian since the age of 15, (several hundred years ago :-), I have long forgotten what tuna tastes like. However, this "tuna" tastes as I remember tuna, and as I am on a keto diet, it is almost devoid of carbs, so win, win!

Was great to find somewhere to buy Tuno in bulk! The cost was average too. I recognise that Tuno is an acquired taste but I love having tuno mayo sweetcorn sandwiches.
