It’s comfortable. We got this for son who has recently gone stabiliser free on the bike. He’d fallen off a couple of time and scraped himself. He has yet to fall off whilst wearing this so I don’t know how much protection it will provide...it’s quite baggy on my 8 year old and I sometimes wear it as a quite tight fitting top.
