Biona Apple & Mango Puree Organic, 360 g (Pack of 1)

Unsweetened applesauce is difficult to find in England, but this Biona apple and mango purée was exactly what I needed without having to buy a pack of six jars. There's no added sugar and you can use it in recipes that call for applesauce. It worked great for my vegan cookies. I also tasted a spoonful and it was quite pleasant, actually. I think the mango altered the flavour a little, but not so much that it overpowered the apple. If you're looking for US applesauce, this is certainly an option.

Quick delivery! This is my 2nd order of this Apple & Mango puree. I’ve ordered 6 jars and each jar is wrapped individually. They are sealed and when I open it the first time, I can hear the noise released from the airtight container. Products expire in December 2023 - more than enough time for me! The consistency of the puree is great. It’s thick enough. I eat it on it’s own as a dessert/snack or with porridge. The puree does not contain added sugar so I can slightly taste the acidity of fruits.

Nice puree but needs using up fairly quickly as it's organic & goes mouldy if not used within days

Love these. I add it to my overnight nights, use in my vegan pancake mixture, add to smoothies etc Or even just eat straight from the jar :-).

I can not even give one star for this product fortunately. But had to choose one or couldn’t put a review . I ordered 3 pots . Two were not sealed on delivery , they were also dented on the lid and had leaked in the packaging . Only one jar had been adequately sealed , lid on correctly and when pushed on the top it did not compress , so in line with food health and safety regulations, which show had not been tampered with or damaged and was completely air tight . The damaged two jars can not be possibly be used. I don’t know if they left for delivery like this or whether they have been tampered/ damaged on route or in factory. Very disappointed with product, which is such a shame as was so looking forward to having with yogurt etc. . I will not be ordering again.

It was properly packed and sealed so nothing to say about it...I just don't like it the combination mango and apple to me do not really work...the tartiness of the mango is overpowering and it does not taste nice edible but not nice..plus it's not very thick .. it's actually a bit loose...I would not recommend it as I won't buy it again
