Can't believe this excellent thing exists, and for such a good price
FPViewer app on android works perfectly with this receiver. I do not experience notable latency. I hook this up, and slap my phone in my $5 VR goggles and BAM! Super immersive FPV flight for $30, plus the phone I already of course had. This thing is brilliant. If you get a scratchy image, it's because auto channel select is imperfect, on all of these type devices, and sometimes only gets you near in the range of the actual channel your vtx is using. Quickly press the button to hop just a single channel, and you can tune in to the exact one your vtx is set to, for a crystal clear image. This also works perfectly with my Shield tablet, which I use to send HDMI out to my Glyph HMD for FPV at the park, where I don't like my whole face and eyes enclosed, so I can be aware of others, while still totally steeping in the first person view of my quad. Receiver comes in a nice protective metal case, with clear plastic window. Excellent range with stock antenna, easily 100m + in open area, and crystal clear with not latency when whooping downstairs, when I'm sitting upstairs, vice versa. Walls hardly effect transmission at all. I found this very impressive. VTX was stock 25mW on Mobula7. Brilliant piece of hardware. If you have a smart phone, FPV is so much more attainable now, by an order of magnitude. LOL at the high priced "name brand" goggles. I had og doms back in the day, but I think now they're just hype on a market with no and/or controlled competition, selling an image more than theyre selling actual than FPV images. I'm sure they look and perform well enough, and they wont interfere with the bone you have through your nose like my VR goggles might, but the prices are comical, which i suppose is rather fitting. Anyway, I'd buy this unit 100 more times, given the choice. You can't beat it.

Get cheap goggles instead.
Plugged into a UVC compatible phone and it wasn't identified by any apps. It just sat there and got really hot. No instructions and only one button that doesn't appear to do anything.

would buy again
I wouldn't fly 2s or better with it, but it works pretty good as a second or third screen for others to watch along. It's not bad with slow/close whooping despite it being on the touchy side. However, I did experience signal drops every 3-4secs lasting as long as .4sec. Definite bang for your buck.I am using this with my own micro to usb C OTG adapter on a Samsung Z Flip with no issues. I've downloaded a few different "fpv viewing" apps and they all seem to work fine.I'd recommend this product.

It works...
Not very well, but it works. It will not pick up through objects very well at all. All it takes is a few branches and it starts cutting out. I manually set the channel, so it isnt an issue of being on the wrong channel. If you go to an open field, and put it on a pole at least 6 feet off the ground, it works pretty well. But who really flies FPV in an open field? You would be better off getting one that has diversity, even if the cost is doubled.

Slightly off
This VRX does work, but the instructions are unclear and without an OTG adapter, it won't work. The cable it comes with did not work at all for me. Also, it requires the device it's connected to to have a driver which is not present on most tablets. The driver is the same one that allows for the use of an external USB webcam. It is also not downloadable without having a jailbroken device. And lastly, the channels that it receives are never directly on the money. Always slightly off. (i.e. 5800 shows on 5798)

OK for short ranges... kept getting a static pulsing thou.
use this for grabbing video of my fpv... keeps staticing the video when I am doing my tricks. :-(, but is good enough for people to watch on a monitor.
