Perfectly made retro set of brake lever hoods
We were overhauling a beloved old Nashbar road bike (1986) and these brake lever hoods were a perfect match for the rotting original set. Very good quality.

Be careful on installation. They tear easily
Bought these to replace the original covers that had rotted away. I had to trim them a little, which is easy to do with a sharp razor blade. Be sure to lubricate them on installation and don't over-stretch them as will tear.

Fits a wide variey of brake levers however....
These are "generic" hood, so might fit or might me a little loose when on certain levers. Mine are on 80's era Shimano 600 and are a little big but do the job perfectly.

Looks stock.
Looks stock on my modolo's but nothing aligns properly. But hey, it's a whole lot better than nothing at all or from Ebay that's a ripoff of $100+ for an original.

Handy replacement part for restoration projects
These were perfect for the restoration of my 1980 Univega Super Ten. The old brake hoods were pretty thoroughly rotted. These fit perfectly on the old brake levers.
