Morey 44-inch Big Kahuna Bodyboard with Power Rod Stringer

BUYER BEWARE! Item not as described, the board I received has a EPS core. The item is described as having a a PE core and shows the PE core box checked off on the photo of the board features. Form what I can tell they must have multiple version of the big kahuna. The one I received seems to sell for around $60-$70 and the one that I thought I was buying sells around $100. Also this board did come with the leash, I'm guessing the higher quality board does not. I payed for 2 day shipping so I could bring this thing to the beach, but sadly i will be returning it. So lame, go to morey website and you can get it for $70

I'm 6'2" and 205lbs. Athletic build.Morey is usually a sure shot. Spent approximately 36 hours on East coast swells. Performance is great from 5' to 1' slop. Easy to paddle, catch wave, and keep speed. The board turns good with no noticeable flex. The foam is great - sturdy good quality on the deck. On first inspection, build quality is great. Fared great in the sun with out delamination or bubbling (proper care). Made sure to rinse off at end of sessions.At the end, I did notice the nose - the foam lip overlaps the slick bottom by about 1/4". One corner the foam is lifted up from it. Kinda disappointed with that. From one that has a quiver with several Morey boards, one even dating back to '91 and still being used by the kids to this day! This would be the first that I've seen a small imperfection after that many hours usage.I will continue to bet on Morey as a solid performer, quality material and awesome price for what you get. You can't go wrong with their mach series which may be at first glance a bit pricey, but at that point you're getting an awesome board that is nearing pro level boards, imo (and then comparatively you'll see Moreys are a super good deal)Every now and again is there a not so perfect unit? Yeah, we don't live in an ideal world!

So far so good. Delivery on time. Sturdy and solid board. This DID come with a leash. So no need to buy one.Next Day "try outs"...Board works great. However, the leash can only fit around my wrist and not my upper arm. So, if you prefer to have your leash positioned on your upper arm, get that other leash. Other than that, the 44 is perfect for my 5'11" 180lbs frame. Floats good and rides great.

Great board that worked well for my 6'3" 200lb frame. We do not have big waves around here, but I can catch more of them and ride them further than most folks thanks to this board.

I never knew that boogie boards came in different sizes I am 6 foot 200 lbs and used to buy the cheap boards for 20 bucks from a big box store they are alright for floating in a pol but this is the real deal I can get up on a knee in a 3 foot surf several magnitudes different than the tiny boards I have used in the past, Morey is an old time reputable manufacturer real nice product.

I like MOREY on bodyboard and when my 42 broke for sun exposition (you must never leave it to sun directly) I bought a black one 44 and it came to me black. It's splendid for me.

I bought this a few of weeks ago and I use it 2-3 times a week and I love it. The board handles so much better than my Body Glove Brand and has better flotation than "department store" board. With this board I can make cuts up and down the wave and can spin with ease. I never thought that the kind of board would matter for me, but this board is better than any body board I have ever used.

Love this board. Used it on the beach at Myrtle Beach and it's the best one I have ever used.
