400 count bottle of stool softener.....
Well, details about how this product works seem a bit awkward- LOL. It's nice to have a 400 count bottle. I'm on many medications that cause a sluggish gut, and these are essential for me- nice to be able to get them at a fair price, and larger size bottle.

great for a stool, but not a sofa
<humor> I had noticed that my stool was getting a bit less uncomfortable to sit on, so I had two options. A pillow and duct tape, or this. I started putting the pills in my stool just like it states (only at night), and it seems to be working. A bit like sitting on frozen peas.One thing I would like to note, do not put these in your sofa or couch. They just disappear man, and no results.</humor>Seeing as people only want serious reviews: It works well, take it if you want to clean out your insides. I recommend and will buy again.

I have been using this for several weeks and even in conjunction with a mild laxative. Two to three gels nightly. It really hasn't helped very much even though I doubled up on the dosage. Will give Kirkland a shot.

Miralax is much better.
This product doesn't work nearly as well for me as Miralax (or the cheaper generic brand) does. I have to take a lot more than 1 or 2 pills per day to get even close to what Miralax does.

supplement for problematic poo'ers
This is part of a supplement 'cocktail' I keep on hand for my problematic poo'er. As constipation is quite common amongst the autistic, stool softener + polyethylene glycol is a daily save for our son. He eats natural applesauce daily for a snack, and takes the stool softener at the same time. The capsules are small enough that they can easily be dropped in food and swallowed (we also have swallow issues).

Good product--excellent value!
I use this product every night according to what I have eaten during the day--one to 4 capsules. I use it with magnesium and never have constipation issues anymore.

The same as Colace at a fraction of the cost
These are docusate sodium 100mg capsules which is the active ingredient in colace. I've found that they work exactly the same and they are also the same size and shape, pretty easy to swallow. This is a much better deal then buying name brand. Docusate sodium is a stool softener - not a stimulant. This means that it just makes it easier to go, but it doesnt stimulate you to go. These are useful if you recently had surgery or are having trouble straining. Because its not a stimulant, its OK to take every day and you wont get "dependent" on them. Recommended dose is at 1-3 capsules daily.
