Best traps for the money.
These are some heavy duty crab traps. I live in southern Louisiana and I ordered these traps as they looked well built in the description. When they arrived, wow! These things will last forever, they must be some sort of industrial trap. The build quality and materials are unrivaled. They are huge and come with a 50 ft rope and a float attached. Definitely worth the money, my grandkids will be using them as soon as my son gets old enough to make some.

Great value for money, not small traps :)
Wanted to do some crabbing for blue crabs in the Carolinas over vacation. I ordered these struggling to find anything else that made sense online before trip for the money. They are good size traps. The bottoms might be a little too wide for blue crabs but an easy fix with a little wire or netting to make sure you don’t loose any decent sized crabs. They are rugged and worked great.

Do not buy. Bait and switch.
In 2020, I bought a pair of these Kufa crab hoops, and was very happy with them. The hoops were made of 1/2" thick steel, and welded together. In 2021, I ordered two more. They are not the same at all! The new ones are so cheap and flimsy. The hoops are now made of 1/4" steel, and they are crimped instead of welded. The bottom wire mesh is no longer stainless steel, but vinyl coated steel. The net is now made of a thinner string. The price, of course, is still the same. This is a criminal bait and switch scheme. I'll never buy a Kufa product again.

Great for fast action crabbing.
I think this is a great setup for easy pier crabbing. I added a wire bait box to the bottom with zip ties and bought 50ft more rope for those longer drops.
