MUCH BETTER THAN I IMAGINED
I purchased for scenery for my Lionel Model O gauge layout. I did not expect much, however, I was surprised by what they looked like, the realistic color, how durable they are, and the overall visual improvement of my layout. I did not realize that they do not have a base, which was a little disappointing, however, it was easy to adapt and make it work. I really can't complain considering the value for the money. Although made of plastic, it easy to obtain a realistic look by adding lighting, road bed, shrubbery, etc. The different shades of trees created the perfect fall look. Overall, it definitely deserves 5 stars

Extremely basic flocked plastic trees
I bought these as cheap-and-ready Dungeons & Dragons campaign scatter terrain. My expectations weren't at all high, given the price level. Bottom line up front: They serve their purpose, but are absolutely no-frills. What came: A thin, stiff plastic bag with a big clump of trees/shrubs in it. It was obviously a random mix, but mostly similar to the one in the listing. Many of the trees were squished and a good amount of flocking had shed off into the bag or onto other trees. Some were tiny and basically just there to build up the tree count. There is a mix of trees with shapes like conifers, deciduous trees, and bushes but they all have the same basic textures. Materials and Build: The tree bodies are made from black and brown LDPE plastic, similar to what plastic army men are made from, with the same unnatural shine, shape memory and mold lines. The flocking is a highly varied mix of greens, a few with some highly unnatural colors, and a few trees/shrubs have bits of colored flock to give the impression of flowers or fruit trees. A lot of the flocking comes off easily with any amount of contact, so they have to be handled gently. Only two-thirds of the trees in the bag would fit together in any single scale, but at least half could pass for bushes or trees next to D&D sized figures. At small handful are probably just going to waste because they are tiny or just weirdly made. Use: The trees have no bases out of the bag so they can't stand up by themselves. The bottom of each tree is just plastic rod sticking out, ranging in thickness from 1-2mm diameter or so, and must be put in something to base them. I expect they are made to be stuck directly into foam or plaster scenery. For tabletop gaming use, I repurposed a bunch of old plastic mini bases I already had, securing my trees by cutting the bottom end of the trunk flat, then adhering them into a slot/drilled hole with a dot of superglue, then filling the bottom with some steel stick epoxy putty from the hardware store. This also gave the bases some weight, and ballast was necessary - a based tree without something to weigh it down falls over immediately. Overall evaluation: These trees cannot stand alongside purpose-made miniature scenery on offer from Noch, Scenic Express, Woodland Scenery, etc, and could never be improved to that level without a lot of skill, time and replacement material. But... they are cheap, and for me it was worth spending a couple of hours putting them in bases to save cost since I'd only planned to use these trees for few game sessions. They're not very realistic at all, but they're functional for what I wanted, and they aren't terrible looking.

Very nicely made
Many different shades of green and many different sizes. They shed a very little bit and look great in a grouping. Used them on a O gauge model train setting. Can use them with the trunk showing or can push them all the way down so no trunk is showing. Would definitely buy them again.

Excellent looking trees for my HO train layout

Good for the price.
Not the best scenery trees I saw by far, but for the price I couldn't ask for more. I use them for wargaming terrain and for that purpose they work just fine.

Tree quality
I think I was expecting something a little different. The trees dont have their own stands which will make installation difficult. Probably my fault, but just saying.

Perfect for miniatures
Good value for the money. Come in various shapes and sizes. Look super real. I was able to use these in various projects including a LARGE mini town. They're pretty durable, I've had others that fall apart when you take them out of the package or look truly fake. They function as intended. I've bought several packs and will continue to buy more. I would recommend.
