Such a good chest pack. I tried a Umpqua and a Simms and returned them both because the fit just wasn’t good enough for warrant the high price. This Fish Pond is even more expensive but the fit is prefect on me (6’ 200lbs). It sits on my shoulders just right, the straps allow me to adjust it just where I want it, and it is not so thick that it blocks my downward vision. If I could suggest one improvement it would be the inclusion of more exterior loops for attaching things. The pack is big enough for me to carry my nymph, dry, and streamer boxes along with everything else I need for a day on the river. Sling packs fatigue my shoulders and cause me back pain. The chest pack evenly distributes the load in a way that is more comfortable for me.

Loved all the pocket room and also the magnetized pocket. That is a solid addition.The only thing I feel could make this product any better would be if it had more outside connection parts. (Places to hook on additional pieces) I lost a knife out of the front pocket on the first day of use. But I chalked that up as a learning experience. Now I use a Bungie cord type thing to secure on outside tools. (line snippers, and plyers). But I wish I had a little more room for more things to hook onto.It has held up through multiple uses so far. In fact, I think it is getting more comfortable the more I "break it in". I love this thing and will be using it for the foreseeable future. Fishpond makes a great product.

I have several packs and this one is by far the best pack i have ever purchased. Being 73 comfort and weight are key items for me. Fits all the boxes and items I need. Get this pack you will love it!!

The Fishpond Cross-Current Chest Pack is a really nice product. High quality materials and craftsmanship. Really comfortable and easy to adjust. The pack holds the net snuggly and keeps it accessible - this has always been a problem for me with the sling bags. The magnetic front pocket is great too. A little larger than I expected.

Nothing better than this pack. Easily store everything needed for a day on the water and fits it all in an easily accessed location. Fishpond is truly the best in its class.

Look, it's this simple. If you want a full sized chest pack that was a bit of storage in the back look no further. This pack is by far the best one I have ever used.

I was very happy with my smaller waist/chest pack from Fishpond and it has served me well over many seasons. I really wanted a little something extra to carry water, lunch, and a rain poncho. This is gonna work very well. I was surprised at how well it fit. I am a big fella, 6'5 300lbs with broad shoulders and this thing has room to spare. The magnetic from pouch is really convenient and the zipper compartment will carry all I would ever need fly wise. My only cons are that the circular clasps will not work with other Fishpond items that have the traditional clasps. Would have been fun to Frankenstein my two packs together, but I really do not need that much stuff with me.
