Thrush17656 Welded Muffler

Too loud in my opinion but, if I had an engine that sounded really good, it would be perfect. Unfortunately I just have an old 4 cylinder, which sounds surprisingly good for its size, but this makes it obnoxious. Wakes up all the neighbors and becomes borderline deafening at anything above 2500rpmAdmittedly, I have a side pipe and basically no sound deadening but my point stands.For the value it seems pretty good, but I'll be swapping it out. Very solid construction though and exactly as described.

The media could not be loaded.  It has a nice deep, low tone very good sounding exhaust and it’s not too loud. I highly recommend this exhaust for your next built.

Sounds throaty and aggressive. Pretty loud but not too much. Smaller size makes fitment options infinite. Great product great price.

I love the nice and rich sound when giving it gas. I have bought a handful of these over the years. Great product. I just put one in my Jeep Commander with the 5.7 Hemi. Unless I'm pulling something heavy I don't get much of a droning sound as some cheaper 2 chamber mufflers do driving down the highway.

I purchased the 'Thrush 17656 Welded Muffler' for the third time on 10/03//2023 and immediately had it installed on to my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7L V8 H.O. First time I purchased it was in Devember of 2015 and the Second time was October of 2019. So I know these mufflers will last exactly 4 years on my Jeep before the rust on the seams make them leak exhaust. The reason I keep buying them are because I love the sound of the muffler and the price is very reasonable. Original OEM muffler lasted 14 years but I am sure they will cost more than three times the cost of the Thrush and doesn't sound nearly as good. If these are guaranteed against rust for 8 years, I would gladly pay x2 the price as I don't have to bother with the hassle and the cost associated with replacing it religiously every 4 years. Still, I keep coming back to this muffler for my Jeep because I think it is a good value overall.

Nice deep tone. Not overwhelming, but solid sound.

Delivered as promised. Worked great for my 1998 Jeep TJ. Easy install and great price compared to Box Stores.

installed it on 2008 ford f150 4.6L. sounded pretty good not to loud. Bad drone if you don't exhaust it out a tailpipe. appeared to be constructed well, and hey for the money it will do the job.

I'm using 2 of these on true duals off of headers on a LA318. Nice deep rumble without being obnoxiously loud.

Nice thick case , fit with no issues and sounds great better then flow master 40 I had on my 02 ram 5.9

This went into my 98 F150 with 4.6L Triton. It has pretty much no back pressure but unfortunately has a really annoying hum/harmonic around 2k RPM's. A little higher or a little lower and it's gone.Truck has a nice rumble at idle but had to install the tail pipe as it was just to loud/harsh without it. I'm not a kid anymore and like to hear other things than just the exhaust note when driving LOL!
