Magpul MS1 QDM Two Point Rifle Sling

This sling was very easy to install considering it came with the QD mounts already installed, I prefer the older swivel just for looks but this newer design doesn't allow for any possibility that it might come undone accidentally. Very durable mounts. Takes less than 10 seconds to remove the sling. very comfortable fits like a glove with lots of adjustment. On sale this item is a great buy.

It's a good sling but only really works correctly with Magpul brand swivels. If you try to use cheaper version swivel sockets or older swivel sockets the sling will pop out and not latch like many other reviews have started. I don't know if Magpul did this on purpose so you'd have to buy only their swivel sockets but the balls on the swivels are slightly shorter and closer to the shoulder where the sling goes though so they won't fully engage and lock properly in other sockets. The fix is to either remove the Magpul swivels from the sling and switch to the old school button release ones, or buy and use the Magpul brand swivel sockets that are about twice the cost of the normal type. I do like the Magpul ones as they have two locks on either side to release the sling instead of the older single push button. Seems like they won't accidently pop out. I'm pretty sure you could take a normal swivel socket and machine it down in height ever so slightly to match the Magpul ones but I didn't try this. Of course this all depends on what you're trying to do and some might be fighting this issue with built in swivel sockets on their stocks.

This sling it just as advertised. Quite adjustable. Well made. I 100% recommend it. It’s MAGPUL. That’s enough.
