Great for drilling through stone and fired clay pots
Used this hole saw to drill through some sandstone stacked stones for a water feature in my small outdoor fishpond and to drill drainage holes into a fired clay planter. Worked really well on both materials with no cracking or problems. Also a very good price for this type of drill.

Great bit set easily solves my problem
Great bit set. Worked well and solved my problem in minutes. I had a 1" hole on my ceramic sink I needed to turn it into 1.25" for the faucet set I got. Got the set next day. I followed the instructions and got the hole widened to exactly how big I need it in less than 5 minutes. A little messy and looks a little odd, but it works perfectly. Excellent product and excellent seller. Recommended!

Good value.
It worked well on bathroom shower tile and on 3/8" rigid plastic plastic.

They work
I needed to drill 4x 5.5 gallon tanks with thin glass, and I'd read it can be pretty sketchy without support. I made a guide out of plywood and used a scrap for backing, used painters tape on the inside of the glass to hold it together as the drill went through. I used a cordless drill on the lowest setting and speed, and filled the guide hole with water. The water didn't need to be refreshed during drilling, it didn't leak until the hole was drilled through. These bits start off with a pretty thick abrasive, and it gets eaten away pretty quickly, you can see the difference between a bit after 3 holes and a new one in the pictures. The 3rd hole was the worst of them, and I wouldn't do another tank with that bit, but it was good enough to work with the bulkhead. These are cheap cheap bits, but as long as they're not bent or something they do work, and I wasn't willing to spend $30 for a bit for a $12 fish tank. Overall I'll definitely buy these again, I have more to do and although they're basically disposable, I paid about $1 per hole, and a more expensive bit would wear out eventually anyway. The hole size seems accurate, as I used a 28mm regular hole saw to drill the guide, and these were a tight fit but they did fit.

Worked better than expected.
I didn’t have a lot of confidence that these worked that well but for the price it was worth a try. I thought no way would they work without using a hammer drill. Was I wrong! Cut through my brick like butter. I was pleasantly surprised. The only issue I had was didn’t go deep enough for my application and couldn’t add an extension due to the shaft’s odd shape. All in all I’d definitely buy again.

Really works!
I buy a lot on Amazon and rarely leave reviews, but this product deserves one. I have a very expensive diamond hole saw set but was missing a 3" one. I have never needed one that large and will likely never need one again so I was hesitant to spend 50$+ on one just to drill a single hole so this seemed like a good gamble. Well, my single hole was met with a couple of issues. The first was that it was through 12" inches of concrete. I knew about this one and because of the physical length limitations I had to drill from both sides of the wall. Not a big deal and I thought if this thing survives 12" I will have gotten my moneys worth. What I didn't anticipate was the 3 pieces of rebar contained in the concrete. Each was 3/4". I really swore when I found the first one and cursed myself for buying a cheap bit. However, I soldiered on and was amazed when I was able to cut through not just one, but all three pieces! It was actually not that bad; I really expected to work much harder at it, All this being said, I'm not sure how much life is left in the bit. It looks like about 3/4 of the diamond flake is still left so all in all the value is certainly there. Very well pleased with this item and very happy I didn't spend $50 for a single hole!

They work, but, you get what you pay for
I got these for a plumbing project that involved drilling through some porcelain tile and cement board in a bathroom. They functioned well enough and cut a nice hole without much trouble. The reason for the three star rating is that the diamond wore away very quickly, even though I went slowly and used plenty of water on the first three holes. Started the fourth hole in a tight area and the bit caught. It did not snap, it bent severely, and I was not trying to muscle thru the cut. Used the second bit to continue and finish the hole. It worked well, but again, there was some pretty heavy ware on the bit. I knew that I was not purchasing a high quality bit at this price point. Better ones are far more expensive. I bought these as a couple time use and done kinda thing. I will be investing in a far better set in the near future. Like I said, you get what you pay for. If you only have a few holes to drill and don't want to spend much money then these bits will do the trick. If you are looking for something that will last thru many projects then invest in either a good bit or set of bits.

A great tool!
First of all any tool should be judged by its cost vs performance. I'm a professional contractor specializing in bathroom remodeling so marble, ceramic or porcelain tiles are used in every project. Honestly, I didn't expect this hole saw to perform like ones costing considerably more. In fact I've paid at minimum $20.00 each for carbide and as much as two to three times as much for diamond hole saws. My first use with one of these was drilling through 3/8" porcelain tiles. It cut quickly and continued cutting several holes without diminished performance. I'm sure I could use just one of these on several several projects. Bottom line is they out performed my expectations for such a low cost tool and I'm totally satisfied!

Works very well. Remember to keep the tile wet when cutting. I used a piece of Kerdi board as a guide and it cut perfectly.

These tile drill bits with 1/2" diamond hole saw are rather cheap and of average quality

Bought it 3 times. Been using it on my aquariums to drill for bulk heads. Noticeable wear after each hole drilled. After 4 or 5 drills it’s no good anymore. Don’t have anything to compare it to (other products) but seems to wear quick. 3 bits drilled me a little over a dozen holes....... it does work, and at the price, I just bought more. Drill slow and use a garden hose and hold it level

appreciated the instruction to hold it at a 45 degree angle. cut 2 holes with one bit no problems at all

This cutter is amazing! Cut clean 125mm holes in porcelain tiles. I would suggest make a template from ply/mdf and use double sided tape to stick to tiles. Use a slow speed adding a little water and little pressure. Place on a flat board. This cutter cuts very quick so check as you go and add more water if needed. Ps I don’t leave many reviews but was very impressed with this cutter and highly recommend it. Oh and speedy delivery too considering! Good luck and feel free to contact me if you need any advice re cutting.
