Disappointing, semi-literate
What a waste of money. The author's name, Frank Walters, sounds pretty "English" but the text was obviously put together by someone whose first language is not English - full of spelling mistakes and grammar errors - "this is real time saver", "PNG is useful because preserves transparency". Page layouts are poor - the book could be 50% shorter if the text wrapped round images. What a waste of money! The online official Affinity tutorials are infinitely better, clearer, and free!

rip off
No link to photo's used. Email to author does NOT work, pictures and illustrations used are too small and no way to enlarge. DO NOT buy this book total waste of your time and money

ok ish
I don't find the book gives you the real basics like how to re-size picture for emailing, but on the whole it has taught me a bit

Really good book for beginner
This book is quite basic but just what I needed, new to affinity and affinity work book although good was a bit too advanced for starting off

In a word, simplicity
This is better than good I have the Affinity book by Affinity however found it a heavy read and spent quite a bit of time scratching my head and getting lost, the Affinity Bible though is so easy in comparison, very easy to follow processes, a must have if new to Affinity, want more out of it or perhaps have jumped ship from PS and LR.

Images too small
The images in the ebook are way too small and difficult to see clearly

Detailed examples
teaches you various techniques to apply to solve different problems with your photos. Doesn’t entirely explain how some things like blend modes work but useful info anyway.
