The media could not be loaded.  This is perfect for what I needed color was perfect and so easy to use. There’s a lot of stain in there only needed one marker for my project definitely recommend.

I noticed a couple of bad reviews stating the pen was white. Well....um...you have to push the pen, upside down, and completely vertical for a few seconds until the stain bleeds into the tip. Wipe off excess and use. It's pretty simple.

I used this product in the dark walnut espresso color to finish off a Old English redo of a really scuffed up very old all wood dresser. The OE was best for 90% of the job but the Varathane product was essential to finish up with deeper scratches, scrapes, thin paint streaks (probably from moving the dresser in a car), small divots and especially chips in the veneer as those wouldn't take up the OE well at all. The result is just stunning considering the minimum effort & cost involved. It makes the idea of a full refinish not desirable or worthwhile. The label indicates Varathane has matching products for a full refinish that this product complements so if I do a complete redo on something I will probably look to Varathane for the whole job. I used a slightly darker color on the dresser than its basic finish which works perfectly as any dings would naturally look darker not lighter. I made the mistake of trying the pen on the top surface but it dries so fast you can't smooth it out and it shows so use it and love it for touch ups of what you couldn't get, or for a repair. Great product.

I have four kids and we all use our dining table from Cost Plus W0rld M&rket every day for eating, homework, and DIY projects. While the kids are little I'm not going to refinish the table, so I try to touch it up. I bought two other markers for this purpose and both of them rubbed off fairly quickly - they just couldn't stick to a polyurethaned surface. This is the marker that finally stayed put. It covers scratches, knots that have crumbled out a little bit, a repaired spot I used wood filler on and sanded, and the edges of the periphery of the table. The color is a great match for the walnut finish on the table. I've also used the pen for new chairs I bought that my cats scratched by playing with each other, and for a few minor spots that didn't have full color finish on them on the backside's crossbars. The touch ups look great. In full light, if you tilt the chair you can see a slight difference in sheen for both the chairs and the table, but it's good enough for me and the value of the furniture. When visitors come over, no one notices the touch ups. They also dried really fast too. Excellent to have on hand if you have kids or pets and dark colored furniture.

The media could not be loaded.  This pen seriously is amazing! I have used it to touch up pecan wood furniture, black wood furniture, Mahogany wood furniture, black metals! I would highly recommend this pen for any of your touch up needs! Well worth the price!

Very compatible with the expresso shade of brown. Easy to use, but first - like with all paint pens/markers, place the tip on a piece of paper and push down on the barrel to prime. Once the tip is full of touch up color jest dab on the spot needing touch up. I clean the area with alcohol first to remove any debris or furniture polish. I had a 9 year old helping and he was able to handle to task with supervision and very minimal assistance.

When I first took the cap off of this item, it gushed all of the stain everywhere. It has stained my hands and arms, ruined the clothing I was wearing as well as the couch I was sitting on. This stain marker cannot be returned to the seller. I would recommend opening over a sink to be safe. Or consider ordering from a seller with a return policy just to be safe.

Bought this to cover a spot on a cherry wood piece of furniture, unfortunately the color of the pen is not cherry at all and has a yellow undertone rather than red, of course you can’t tell this until you use the pen, and the item is not eligible for returns, very disappointed, I might as well have just thrown a $10 bill in the trash can since I now have the same damaged furniture and $10 less than when I started.
