Nice new dash in an hour
I debated about whether or not to order this or go with a new dash. Because the DashSkin product is 70% less than a new dash, and a similar savings in time expended, the order was placed. Upon receiving this dash overlay, and installing it, I would repeat the process since it fits like fine lingerie and looks terrific. Also, I'm happy to report having made a decision (this week) my spouse is happy with :-)

Great Product & Great results
I have one complaint but its minor and i'll get to it in a minute.PROS:Product looks like a manufactured dash... only by close inspection can a person tell... I.E. by looking closely at the dash vent holes AND if any of the vent holes are broken then it will be a dead give away... nevertheless 99% of the people that sit in your truck don't look this closely.Product fits amazingly well. When you lay it on top of the old disgusting dash, it immediately morphs into a new non-disgusting dash. There are some areas that, once you installing the adhesive, you want to make sure seat well but follow the directions and you'll be ok.Directions were informative and complete.THE PRODUCT IS MADE IN THE USA... For the love of God.. spend the extra 10 bucks and be assured of the quality AND support your mother-loving country!!CONS:FOR THE DASH: the silicon adhesive, in my opinion, was a bit short on the quantity. I happened to have an extra tube laying around from another project and was able to use it to complete about 20% of what remained. They give you the same amount of adhesive for the bezel, which is boxed together and is obviously smaller. After installing the bezel I had some adhesive left over so maybe they thought that the user would open the 2nd tube meant for the bezel and ration appropriately. I didn't want to take a chance and had some on hand so this wasn't a problem. Additionally, the instructions advise against using the attachable cone tip when applying but i found that using the cone tip will make the adhesive apply more cleanly, with less mess, more evenly and will go further with its use. I'm not advising that you go against the instructions... just my input.

good for the money. way better than stock
i have bought others that cost more but looked the same as this one.... the dash cover its self was ok for what i paid. it fit well with the only trimming was opening up the holes for the screws along the top of the dash that i used to help with the install. . it could have fit tighter around the A pillers but was still good cover for the dash. my dash wasn't all busted up like most but it was about to be. .... the cover for the gauge part was a diff story. took some trimming of the new part to make it fit good and sit down on the stock part. doing it that way saved messing with the new cover. the only mod i had to make to the new cover was a bit to clear one pin for center vent. ..... over all ya good stuff for the money. .. helpfull hint.... loosen the 2 nuts for the pass side air bag when ya put the top cover on.. get it glued down then tighten up the nuts so the leading edge is snug under it. helps hold it down and looks stock when done. .... the bad part is the gauge bezel once ya try to put it in the truck. ... all the work to make it fit the old one ... it won't fit on the truck and will take more work than its worth to make fit rite..... i wound up ordering a dorman direct fit part NOT just a cover.... sorry .... the gauge cover is just not very well made and looks like hell when ya do put it in the truck.... still think the dashskin dash cover is worth buying tho. just get it and the dorman replacment bezel. update ... still looks good and ain't changed color yet ..

Easy installation and directions .
Easy installation and directions the tube of silicon adhesive while it looks kinda blank was tested first to see how it sets up and how long it takes to get tacky let me just say, be ready to install when you use adhesive and follow directions . I spread it out in some areas other parts I left it kinda thick. Have extra glue if you go to cover the whole back side of dash.Do not clean off glue with anything other than WD/40 same if you get some glue on other parts .Do not use spray foam in void spot use fire resistant foam cut and shape as needed.

I would buy it again
I will give it 9 out of 10. 10 would be a new dashboard that would take me days to replace. The cover looks great only a few people will know is a cover. I would do it again for sure.

Okay fit but not perfect
It fits alright but is by no means perfect the main areas are above the steering wheel and at the passenger airbag it wouldn’t lay flat like it needed to.

Excellent product can be installed by anyone.
I am so impressed by how the dash and bezel are made. I purchased the set with free shipping for $170 and cannot by happier with how it looks. The installation was easy and you would not know it’s not original unless you are looking for it. My dash had cracking but not as bad as most. I wanted to install before it became too bad. This is an easy inexpensive way to make your dash look new again. Thank you for producing a quality product at an affordable price. I would not change anything in how the product is made. Some said it was not heavy but it needs to be flexible to fit and keep from cracking. I will tell people I know that need this product.

Fits great, bezel got me though
Just got this in and slapped into my 2001 1500 that I got a few days ago.My dash is non existent so I found small areas I could to glue in. Fits great so hoping the few contact points I had will work long term. The bezel got me though. I didn’t realize it wasn’t a full bezel but just a skin. So unfortunately I can’t use it as my bezel had one (HAD) clip holding it in and the entire thing was pretty busted up to. I ordered another one that has the full set up so hopefully it will be as good as the dash quality of this is.Doesn’t feel flimsy like I was originally concerned about and saved a bunch not having to get a full new dash.
