I suppose it works ok but I was very surprised by the extremely strong fish odor and taste. I knew it had fish oil in it but Ive taken fish oil before and it was tasteless unlike this. I have to force myself to take it and hold my nose.

This Thrivous Omega supplement is an interesting one, for me. The recommended serving is 2 capsules at a time, anywhere from once, to up to 4 times a day. This bottle contains 60 capsules, so if a person were to take the 2 capsule dose, twice a day, that would be 4 capsules per day, and the bottle would only last 15 days. Depending on how often you take this supplement per day, 60 capsules won't go too far.The ingredients used seem to be of decent quality, in that many are standardized, or use a trade-marked extract. Each 2 capsule serving contains:- 556mg - "AvailOm" Omega 3 Lysine Complex. 15% DHA, 30% EPA- 300mg - Garlic Bulb Extract (1% Allicin)- 60mg - Gotu Kola (80% Triterpene)- 50mg - "Oligopin" French Maritime Pine Bark (67% Procyanidin)- 40mg - Olive Leaf Extract (20% Oleuropein)Overall, the capsules are easy to swallow, I experienced no stomach upset or anything. I wouldn't use this in place of Omega 3 oil soft-gels, or similar, however this is an interesting complimentary product. One could always seek out the individual ingredients and take them separately, though. this bottle of capsules won't last very long if you are taking a 2 capsule serving multiple times a day.

This supplement is low-dose Omega 3s, garlic bulb extract, Gotu Kola, Pine Bark Extract, and Olive Leaf Extract. I do not know what these have to do with keeping your cardiovascular system healthy, and I cannot imagine the science behind these is strong.If you want Omega 3s, just take fish oil. If you want the benefits of olives, eat olives or olive oil rather than supplement with the minuscule quantity of olive leaf extract found in these pills, which will likely do nothing for you.The marketing says these ingredients have human clinical studies proving their effectiveness, which is overstating reality. Their Web site for this product links to Examine for the science, which is a great formerly-free Web site that now requires a subscription. Their science link for the Omega 3s in this is for fish oil, not AvailOm Omega 3s.I looked for research showing how Pine Bark Extract helps with cardiovascular health, and the first human study I found proved that it provides no cardiovascular benefit and the authors mentioned that the previous studies were flawed.The AvailOm they are claiming is more bioavailable is being compared to AHA, not to DHA or EPA. This is a straw-man comparison.This company does an excellent job of marketing, and they make a pill with basic ingredients look fancier than it is. You can get much more Omega 3s from other vendors for less money. The only reason to get this pill that I can see is if you are a sucker for slick marketing.They put the lab test results on their Web site, which I give them credit for. They also offer a money-back guarantee, which is great.The source ingredients are from China.I take fish oil every day for brain health. I sometimes supplement with Gotu Kola and Pine Bark Extract, but not for heart health.

I think the company puts out a first-class product. It’s made clean and in strict facilities that are GMP Certified for a fine product. It’s ingredients are a combination of things I generally try to take regularly to help keep my Brain functioning as well as possible. I’ve no complaints except that I wish they put more specific information on how much DHA and EPA is in it separately, instead of combining the total amount. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend it.

Great supplement. No taste or odor issues. The omega-3 used in this is the most bioavailable one on the market.

I didn't have any problems swallowing capsules and didn't encounter any odor on them at all. Happy to be taking this supplement for the health benefits.

I’m on the verge of turning 60. Now, sometimes when I carry heavy things in a certain way, or sleep on an arm in a certain way, my arms start to feel like they are going to sleep.
