Rahul (Tusshar Kapoor) and Karan (Ritesh Deshmukh) are good friends. Rahul is sincere, simple and hardworking and Karan is the complete opposite. Still it's a good family entertainer (by european standards) with no sexual explicit material. The cinematic effect might not be all that, instead it's very commercial with lots of beautiful people and some hilariously peculiar characters. Basically it's about two wannabes who think they are really cool, but in actuality they are quite the opposite. The story builds on some instances of mistaken identity, and if you don't understand Hindi, that's ok, you'll be able to follow the story and get the jokes anyway! I recommend it to anyone who likes a bit of sensless fun! ### ⭐⭐ Kyaa Kool Ho-Hum *by L***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 May 2006* "Kyaa Kool Hai Hum" ("How Cool We Are")-not- is one of the worst films that I have seen for quite some time and easily the worst "Bollywood" one. It doesn't stand comparison to films like "Rang De Basanti" , "Salaam Namaste" and "Shikhar" for example. I actually felt guilty after spending three hours watching "Kyaa Kool", such was the mediocrity of the film. The "plot", if it deserves that title, was vapid and the acting ,characterisation and songs were all very poor. The whole film was disjointed and half the time I had difficulty identifying which character was doing what to whom and this was made even worse by the appalling and frequently incomprehensible English subtitles on my DVD. "Kyaa Kool" attempts to mix slapstick toilet humour with a "plot" that is loosely based around the activities of a serial rapist and murderer. Nothing funny about that, but "Kyaa Kool" attempts to dredge some humour from that sump- unsuccessfully so I might add. "Kyaa Kool" is exactly the sort of "Bollywood" film that many people would use to write off all Indian films as trashy and mediocre, but I think that this would be an unfair generalisation as I have watched quite a few "Bollywood" films lately and most of them have been entertaining and enjoyable.
