This device is only 16-bit, and I was unable to get anything but mic-in working, but that's okay, it's acting as line in. I also had to use alsamixer, chose capture, and then the mic input. It still captures stereo and gain can be adjusted with your alsamixer, but you'll probably have to create a boot script to make those settings permanent.
