**Q: What size glass hole-saw is needed for these 1/2" fittings?**
A: Ryan,  According to the instructions, the 1/2" fitting requires a 1-1/8" hole (1.125").

**Q: Is the bulkhead threaded on the inside of one of the holes?**
A: This particular bulkhead is socket on both ends.

**Q: Will this mate up to a standard garden hose fitting?**
A: No, but you can get a 1/2" to garden hose adapter at Lowe's/Depot.

**Q: What is the diameter of the strainer? The bit that fits into the bulkhead!**
A: it is the same diameter as 1/2" pvc which is about 7/8" of an inch when I measured it.
