It works great! Love the convenient 30-minute timer. Comfortable enough to keep the pad on continuously. Unlike an ice pack, this device pumps ice-cold water, so it doesn’t freeze my skin. However, they have now installed a 30 minute which makes it useless. Most people buy this for constant ice post-surgery, particularly at night. However, when you have to reset the timer every 30 minutes, it defeats the entire purpose. I understand that it cannot be on bare skin for extended periods of time. Regardless, many people come home from procedures with ace wraps and splints and need ice on top of those. For these purposes this simply doesn't work.Returned and purchased a Ossur machine.
