Most new items are USB-C, but the micro-USB devices are from from obsolete. These neatly clasp on to the charging cables (so they don't get lost) and now I can charge either sort of device without great hassle. The size is small, of course so no great bulk, which makes the clasp chain attachment for the cable rather important.
