There was an old water softener in place that had bypassed years prior. When researching what to replace it with we settled on this unit. It arrived less than 5 days after ordering with everything in place and packaged well. It was very easy to hook up to plumbing that was already in place for the softener. APlus provided very detailed instructions with the unit on how to install the valve and get it programmed. Almost immediately after running it we noticed a substantial improvement in water quality. We no longer have rust staining water that smells and tastes bad.
