There is ZERO guidance on how to use the various markings , so it is pretty much a guessing game. I thought it came with a simple DVD, but there was NOT A THING with mine, not even one sheet of instruction. Now If I knew for certain that the plane this thing is ultimately trying to teach me was correct, and come hell or high water, and subject to eventually getting the right guidance on set up, it would hone it in for me, I would say its great. I did try a few swings with it, and did get a little more sense of confidence with the manner in which I was bringing back the club my next time out on the course. I could remember the basic plane and swing from muscle memory and I didnt have to guess when I was on the course whether I was correcting in a good or bad direction, assuming that the plane the Medicus was teaching me was a good one. So I would look forward to getting it set up right and going for it and engraining that muscle memory if I KNEW this plane was the generally accepted correct plane or one piece swingers. .The problem, as with any other of these golf trainers that claim to be the final answer, is it does not jive with other "plane finders" that are supposedly teaching us the SAME BASIC PRINCIPLE of an On Plane, one plane or one piece swing. So who is right and who is wrong?? I got this and the Hank Haney plane finder at the same time, thinking they would be two aids, this one more portable than the other and that I could take to the course. I thought they would help me with the same issue. The problem is, each one claims to teach a fundamental principle to start from, but teaches an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT PLANE, on the same supposed theory. SO I say its just "OK" because I have no idea which and who is teaching me the right way for me. But using the Vision Track, you would wipe out the bottom rows on the Plane Finder every single time, back swing and down swing. So according to Hank, the Vision Track is teaching a swing that is too much from the inside. Truth is, I think the Medicus plane is a better and more natural one for me, and I think I hit the ball ok after using that one a few times. So who knows now. Which one do I keep and which one do I throw away, and how do I talk to anyone at either place to give me any guidance on either. Once again, the amateur mid-handicapper is lost in a giant morass of conflicting instruction, without a chance of improvement until getting a good instructor, whose method works for their style and their swing, and helps them make sense out of any of the rest of this competing nonsense. BTW, I submitted almost this same review for the Hanely finder. Also, it just so happens that with the Haney aid, I only tick the rear lower indicator in the back swing, most of the time, and nothing on the down and through swing excpt once in a while the middle lower indicator, suggesting (according to Hank) that My plane is probably pretty good, but I am occasionally coming up out of it early, and therefore hit the middle lower flag on contact. So I could now spend a lot of effort trying to pull the club back a tiny bit more outside, or straight, to avoid barely ticking the lower indicator on the backswing, thinking that is a more CORRECT plane, while the Medicus would have me pulling it back even MORE inside, entirely wiping out the lower back Haney indicator on the back swing, not just ticking it, and completely destroying all of the lower indicators on the down and through swing. So what to do !!!! Calling all professionals !!!! Please Chime in .....lol ;-) . ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not durable *by O***. on Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2015* Let me preface by saying that this trainer broke within 5 swings... about 1-2 inches from the indentation where the ball is placed. So if you are wondering if it is reliable, the answer is a resounding no. As for the 5 swings I got to use it for, I would say that it's a great mental exercise to follow the proper line.
