If I had a dedicated irrigation valve time and so on?** A: The Soil Clik only supports the sensor that comes with it. However, the output of the soil clik can be used with a variety of controllers. The output of the soil clik is a relay contact. It can be used to control a single valve or a group of valves. I have 15 valves but only 6 are connected to the soil clik. I did this by creating a separate common lead for just those six valves. The relay in the soil clik opens that common lead when there is enough moisture in the lawn thus preventing over watering. My other valves that are used for drip irrigation share a different common lead and are not affected. I have a rain sensor connected to the master controller which can shut everything off when sufficient rain has been detected. **Q: What is the time interval for the module to take new readings of the sensor and update the display read out. Why is a "Measurement" button needed?** A: I can't remember what the measure button is for. Can't say I used it over the last 4 years. As far as updates, they happen within seconds. It can be very dry on the display, and then it will rain. The sensor is buried a few inches in the ground.
