## Overview

Milliput Standard Yellow/Grey Epoxy Putty is a 113.4g two-stick kit designed for professional-grade repairs and modeling. It sets rock hard in 3-4 hours at room temperature, is heat resistant up to 130°C, and cures fully for machining and painting. Waterproof and compatible with a wide range of materials, Milliput offers durable adhesion and a 2-year shelf life, making it the ultimate go-to for DIY, industrial, and marine applications.

## Description

Each Pack is approx 113.4g (two sticks combined). The epoxy putty with a thousand uses in modelling D.I.Y and industry. The two sticks have a long shelf life but once mixed the resultant putty is at first soft and highly adhesive and then gradually hardens. Speed of hardening is dependant on temperature and at normal temperatures (20-25ºC) Milliput becomes rock hard in three to four hours. By the application of heat the setting time can be reduced to a few minutes. After setting hard Milliput continues to cure and is fully cured after an elapse of time equal to the setting time at the same temperature. Once fully cured Milliput can be machined, drilled, tapped, turned, filed, sawn, sandpapered and painted. Milliput can be sandpapered and painted immediately it has set. (it is advisable to wear eye protection during this process). Milliput is an excellent adhesive and will bond any of the following to itself or to any of the others - wood, brick, cement, metals, concrete, plastics, glass etc, but note that Milliput is not intended as a thin layer adhesive and should not be used where a paste, mucilage or thin glue is indicated. Milliput will set under water and is heat resistant up to 130°C. Shelf Life: Recommended that Milliput is stored in cool, dry conditions. Please reseal bags after use. Stored correctly this product should remain workable for about 2 years.

Review: Easy, little mess, sets solid, many uses - The garage roof of the house we bought is corrugated metal which is nailed into the joists, in principle it should have been fine as the correct fixings were used on the outside. However, every time it rained, water would seep in at the holes, resulting in a very damp garage which was not good for the contents!! Tried some normal putty last year which was a total failure. Saw this product on desertcart and thought I'd give it a try - for about £27 it was worth it and if it worked, a lot less than a new roof! I cut equal amounts from the 2 sticks, rolled and kneaded them in my hands until mixed, where it became pliable. It was super easy to mould it around the nails between the peak of the corrugated sheet and the joist. Very little mess involved too, some residue on hands but easily washed off. After a few hours the stuff had set. I think for about 70-80 nails I had used 2 boxes, so costing about £5.50 for the job. I noticed a couple of the nail caps outside had cracked so used it to repair them, and was able to get a smooth finish by using a little water. We've had plenty of heavy rain since and to my absolute delight the inside of the garage remains completely dry, the Milliput has done good! There are many other uses for it, which is good as I have another 8 boxes sat around! Am so glad I bought this, it really is a super product and given it worked out about £2.70 per box, its an absolute bargain.
