Neither of which could handle the old paint from the deck or dank dark and or green having formed. These pads in combo with the other tools made for restorable sandable sustainable or paintable wood that makes up the wood treatment. Everything looks fantastic. If you need more aggressive means and chemicals or sanding hasn't worked or isn't preferred try the Wagner remover. They don't last long but get the job done very well.
