Whether this is your first time using epoxy resin or you're a professional maker, TotalBoat TableTop epoxy kits make it simple to create gorgeous, crystal clear projects. Use this 2-part coating epoxy to create high-gloss finishes on table tops, bar tops, countertops, kitchen islands, bathroom vanities, desks, and other furniture. Its simple 1:1 mix ratio by volume, self-leveling consistency, and excellent bubble release make it easy to measure, mix, pour, and spread for great results. Compatible with properly prepared wood, metal, concrete, granite, vinyl, and other porous surfaces.Pour TableTop Epoxy in coating layers up to 1/4" thick. It can also be poured up to 1" deep in small molds when using no more than 6 fl. oz. of mixed epoxy per pour. Cures at room temperature and resists impact shock, scratches, color discoloration, and heat. UV stabilizers and a slight blue tint help the epoxy retain its clarity without yellowing. Use as a waterproof, BPA-free coating on food-contact surfaces in the home or in bars and restaurants. Always apply a seal coat before flood coating wood or another porous material. Pour it clear or add epoxy-compatible mica powder, alcohol inks, pigments, or embedded objects to personalize woodworking, resin art, tumblers, coasters, serving displays, and craft projects. For prolonged or intense outdoor UV exposure, protect the cured epoxy with a compatible polyurethane varnish.Do not use TableTop Epoxy for floors, cutting boards, direct food-preparation surfaces, large molds, deep river pours, or projects requiring more than 1/4" per coating layer. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this heat resistant?**
A: Not really, a hot pot will leave a mark on it

**Q: do i need an edge coat for vertical edges?**
A: You should. Depend on type of wood and condition.

**Q: Can this be mixed with glitter?**
A: You should be able to mix it with glitter but you would have to add a flood coat (epoxy only) over it to make sure everything is sealed.

**Q: Can this be machined, sanded, polish after cure? I have used epoxies that never get hard.**
A: Follow the directions provided with product....exactly.  Do not divert or alter the process in any way.  Epoxy will cure within about 3 days for machining...given ambient temp stays around 75*-80* F.  Final coat cures with a very glossy finish; no need for polishing.
Have patience & follow the directions.  My countertop finish is absolutely glossy, hard, and amazing.
