Review: Works For Me I’ve Subscribed - I’m back for a 3 month review. I’ve been using Brain Octane MCT C8 oil since April 2026. I had a TBI in 2021. I’ve lost 23 pounds since then - 15 of which was real excess body fat (!), and I am continuing to lose weight as well as inches. As remarkable as that is for me, a person who has struggled through many different types of eating and fitness regimens with no demonstrable results, the best part of this type of eating is that it has resulted in me having never felt better physically or mentally. I honestly can’t exaggerate: I am 30 and haven’t ever, in my whole life, felt as well as I do now. Of note, I have epilepsy due to a prior head injury, and this style of eating has, both anecdotally and objectively, helped me greatly with the issues related to that. **Q: Is this brain octane or xct oil? title and picture say brain octane but the description is for xct**
A: Brain Octane is definitely NOT XCT oil.  XCT oil is a combination of C8 (caprylic acid) and C10 (capric acid).  While Brain Octane is 100% C8 (caprylic acid), which converts to Ketones much much faster, and helps with brain function.  This is why Brain Octane is more expensive.  XCT oil is not Brain Octane.  I think the description is just wrong, but I've ordered from here before and received Brain Octane.  You should be safe to order and expect to get what is advertised in the picture, not the description.  Hope this helps.

A: To date, coconuts are a non gmo crop which means there literally is no such thing as gmo coconuts.  Certified Organic includes guidelines for what fertilizers and pesticides can be used and also guarantees non gmo, but that would mean there has to be a gmo version to begin with. I have been doing keto on and off for years and have never tried mct oil. I can go months without a cheat day. I decided one wknd to have a cheat wknd, and start keto again that Monday. For some reason this time was different. I was experiencing keto flu for the first time and it was brutal. The brain fog was very intense and I felt like I was a Dead Man walking. I was taking longer to get into ketosis even though I was doing everything I normally do so I decided even though I had already gotten back to ketosis by this time and had gotten through the flu that I did not ever want to go through that again. I looked into it and the MCT oil was a good thing to help me if this ever happens again. Although I had already gotten past the keto flu I still started taking that on June 1st and I've been taking it every single morning. I have noticed that I have more energy than normal and more clarity. I decided to test it and even though it had only been about a month since my last cheat day I wanted to see if it helped so last weekend I had a cheat weekend and got myself back into keto by Wednesday and did not experience any keto flu and I think that this product helped me a lot.
