If heat is used when extracting the oil it significantly reduces the beneficial ingredients. This one is a hard pass for me. Spending a few extra dollars for cold pressed is much better than having no results at all! **Q: How strong is the smell?** A: The oil does have some odor, but I would not consider it pungent.
