NO this is a waterbased product. VOC stands for Volatile Organic Compounds, generally only found in solvent based paint. regards scott **Q: what are the instructions for using with acrylic gloss (painting doors)** A: If the acrylic is water based, follow the instructions, which from memory is add 5-10% by volume. If the existing paint is oil based, use Zinsser BIN first. **Q: The litre bottle of this says you can use it on emulsion but this one only mentions for acrylic although 500ml says for water based. It was last year when I used this to paint my UPVC windows and doors from memory you only use a small amount but the results are fantastic. Have to say i used a paint brush and there are no brush marks at all once dried. it makes it look like it has been spray professionally painted. it does not seem to reduce the strength.
