Only one small chip on the thumb fingernail. Lasts very long, but during curing does have that extreme burning sensation. Easy to apply, but I do wish it came with a brush since I only have a small one to apply which is harder. Great for nail techs or nail lovers who have some prior experience with gel polish as it does take some time to properly use!

**Q: does this cure in a LED lamp or UV?**
A: Hello, I have a SUNUV 9C nail lamp UV LED, 365nm+405nm, how long do you recommend to cure your product,

**Q: After using this with tips can I use my Gelish top coat? If I can do I need to use foundation first then top?**
A: Once the Builder Gel is cured, you may apply a lacquer or a Gelish color coat on top of it. A base coat will not be necessary for this step.

**Q: do i have to buy anything else? i just bought the hard gel, is there an other necessary thing or i just can use and apply the gel directly to the nail**
A: You'll want a brush to apply it. They're fairly cheap, you can get one at your local craft store or WalMart. It doesn't have to be anything specific. You'll also need either a UV (At LEAST a 36 watt) or LED light to cure the gel, rubbing alcohol to clean the nail and some lint free wipes and a primer. I prefer Young Nails primer. I've been using it for awhile now with zero lifting. You'll also want some nail files for finishing. 100/180 grit for shaping and a 240 grit for smoothing out the nail. Maybe even a buffing block if you want, but it's not necessary. A top coat is nice too. I like OneDor no-wipe top coat.

**Q: Can you use a LED lamp to cure the gel?**
A: LED or UV light will cure this gel… the only difference is time, LED= 60 secs   UV = 3-4 minutes

This gel applies smoothly compared to the smaller jar I bought last year which was harder to work with. the color is more clear then pink. And the jar comes with a lot of gel for the price. This hard gel is pretty good for my nails if I apply it thick. If I apply it too thin it will crack on my nails. It cure very well. I will continue to buy this brand.
