I didn't want to mess around with punchdown tools and wiring the back of a panel in a loft, so was really pleased to find this patch panel which allows you to plug the RJ45 straight into the back of it. It's a well-made 1u rackmount panel, from the picture it looks a bit plastic but it's actually good thick steel plating. It's screwed straight into my cabinet no problem, plugged my feed cables in at the back and then patch cables round the front and I was up and running. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Does what it should *by C***K on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 August 2021* Works as it should RJ45’s are retained securely. Not seen any errors caused by using this patch panel ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Handy patch panel but minor manufacturing defects let it down *by M***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 May 2020* On the connections there were a few (2 or 3) out of the 24 that had extra plastic at the point at which you connect the RJ45 cable end. This meant the securing clip wasn't able to secure the cable.
