The pistol itself was in excellent condition and performs as specified. The left brass receiver plate has a gap, but that does not affect a non-firing replica. No complaints to desertcart, to Denix...try just a little harder, especially at this price.

**Q: What holster would this fit in? Would it fit in a Civil War Holster, or is the barrel too thick?**
A: Most Civil War holsters will not hold the Volcanic without major modification. Rather than ruin a perfectly good holster, I bought 10 bucks worth of leather and am making my own. There are lots of videos on YouTube that can help you with this.
