Later games using a similar model were greatly simplified and geared more toward younger players. But with this new family model, everyone can play together. It still employs the same four basic Cranium categories: Creative Cat, Data Head, Star Performer, and Word Worm but within those groupings there are numerous new challenges for players of all ages. Like the traditional game, there is squishable clay for sculpture challenges but now there are also stacking cubes and a set of plastic frogs that players are occasionally called upon to flip. The game board is scaled back a bit, offering a short length of the game. It was lots of fun :) **Q: How many players is this game designed for? Can just two play?** A: I believe the game was designed for 4 or more players for team purposes but if you're creative enough, I guess 2 people could play. It'd be challenging, though. An example task of the game would ask you to draw something with your eyes closed and your team members would have to guess what you drew in order for you to advance. If playing with just 2 people, I suppose you could have the other person you are playing against guess the answer and if they guess correctly, you could advance forward. Playing with two people would depend on whether or not you are willing to improvise in order to make the game work with just 2 people. Everyone can participate and it's just as fun for the adults as it is for the kids. We played with our 5 yr old niece and 8 and 9 year old nephews, what a riot.
