A: It should. 6.5 creedmore uses the sme size primer as a .308 and 30-06.

**Q: What is the actual length of the tool?**
A: overall length 1.5 inches

**Q: Will this also ream the pocket to get rid of military crimps?**
A: The answer is not really. Using low rent tools one can spend more time on case prep than in actual reloading. The solution is good tools. If you are new to reloading or at least new to loading 5.56X45 or 7.62X51 you may be fighting the crimped pocket battle. I tried every  sort of crank and hand reamer both cheap and not so cheap until I finally read enough to come up with the solution. That solution is the Dillon Precision Super Swage 600. Drop the case on the the case holder, cycle the handle and remove the case and your done. (You may have to build a little stand out of 2x4 chunks to get it up off the bench) It takes only a few seconds a case and they all come out the same. It does not remove any metal it just swages the primer hole. This little gem will cost you around a hundred bucks but it is built like a tank and you can process a thousand rounds an hour easily. Just turn up the music and rock on. For clean pockets I tumble all my cases in a Thumler's Model AR-12 using Stainless Steel (pins) Tumbling Media with two tablespoons of Dawn and a half teaspoon of Lemi Shine. The cases sparkle inside, outside and in the primer pocket after six hours. Yeah, all this will cost you more money but what is the point of crushing primers in bad pockets and loading sub standard loads. Might as well buy Russian steel junk and be done with it. Sorry to be long winded. So, NO it won't work. Get a swager. Oh, and get some Lyman Case Headspace Gauges that way you will know in an instant if you need to trim or not. Good luck.
