One will not connect to the app and is only working at the base, and one will not turn on from the wall if its off on the app. I don't think that being able to control a smart switch with a smart bulb from either the wall, or switch should be considered a big ask, but maybe home automation just isn't there yet.My biggest complaint though so far though has been with installation. Our house doesn't have the requested "red wire" unless we were already working with a 3-way light, which you aren't supposed to use with these switches. Self install was pretty difficult, and we ended up getting an electrician to install these for us. One thing that he found during the install is that these don't work with lights on the GFI so it just kept flipping the reset and wouldn't stay on. This kept us from using the switch on our light post on our driveway (disappointingly the one I wanted to use it with the most) and as you can see from the picture left us with three Tapt switches and one regular. (Don't judge the scratched wall. We need to paint!)I'm going to try to reconfigure everything tonight and give these one more shot. Maybe they will get a star back.Updated 4.23.15So after about 20 min on the phone with Wink support we discovered that my light switch was part of a group of switches that needed a hard reset. I was asked to shut power off to the switches from the breaker and that did the trick to getting them back online. Unfortunately though a few days later my Wink hub crashed as part of the major outage and I basically had to start over again. After I paired all of my items back to the hub (I'll detail that whole thing when I can update my Wink review) I could not get the one that had to have a hard reset to work again. This time cutting the power didn't fix it either, so the electrician is coming back to see if they can do anything.The saga of my home automation continues, but I still have this feeling this was the right setup to go with. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Craptastic! Bought 6 of these, all worked well for about a week, then stopped working one at a time. Its not a matter of simply reconnecting and re adding them as new switches because the reset procedure doesnt work. Wanted to send them back but I dont have any switches to replace them with after spending @200 dollars on these. If you're wanting to purchase these switches dont do it. I should have heeded the reviews.EDIT....came back after a few months to update this. As I said above, the switches dropped offline after working well for about a week and couldnt be brought back online, WINK support confirmed that the switches were not viable after several reset attempts. I just used them as regular (although too expensive) switches for about a month while I saved up some money to replace them all with another type of smart switch...After about a month, I thought I would try and see if I could get them working again and surprisingly all of them were able to be reset and recognized by the hub and the app. I assume an update was pushed through and it resolved the problem. So they are working flawlessly for over a month now. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I don't have to get out of bed to see if all the lights in the house are off. *by A***C on Reviewed in the United States on April 12, 2016* The more I've learned about these switches, the happier I am I purchased them. I love the ability to program functions--such as having the lights turn on at sunset or to coordinate with other lights. My garage lights are on a different switch than my porch lights but invariably, I want them on at the same time. Before installing these switches, I had to go to opposite ends of the house to turn them on and off. With the schedule feature I was able to tie them together. If I turn on the porch lights, the system matches the garage lights at the same time. There are tons of automated functions that can be programmed.The biggest limitation I've found now that I have been using them for several months, is that the telephone app doesn't indicate which lights are on if they were turned on manually at the switch. When I go to bed at night, it would be nice to be able to look at the house's lights and see which ones are on--but that's not yet possible.I had a little trouble setting up my second switch and customer service was exceptional. They stayed with me to resolve every concern. When I bought these, they were $24.00 each -- which I thought was a good buy.
