Well, I also ordered a pair of the Sheik straps shortly after getting these and seeing how much thinner they were. These do the job, but they're already stretching and I won't use them for heavier weights where safety could be an issue if they tear. I loved those. They were strong and thinner than cotton straps (which is why I prefer leather). These are awful in comparison to the original. I have these for a few months now, and I hate them. Dont get me wrong, they do what they are suppose to do, give you better grip, which is why I'll give them 2 stars. However, they bundle up. Normal straps should stay flat, so they distribute weight around your wrist with more surface area against your wrist.
