The ultra thin and sleek bottle cage is the lightest of Ibera's bottle cages, weighing only 29g, constructed from lightweight heat-treated aluminum alloy. Other bottle cages usually weigh from 40g to 70g. The bottle cage is light, but still has the strength of a regular bottle cage. The oval and ergonomic design helps to strengthen its hold, keeping bottles securely in place while providing easy access for riders. Great for rides around town or for touring. At only 29 grams, it is perfect for those who want a stylish cage to lighten their load as they ride. 2 glossy finishes in a carbon pattern and white and 2 matte finishes in black and silver make it easy to match bikes of all colors. Specifications: Material: Heat-treated aluminum plate. Weight: 29 g (1 oz.). Dimensions: 4.5" x 3" x 3.5". Note: Not for rough or off-road riding.

Cheap Rubber Triangle ripps with any force

*by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 28, 2016*

So I bought 2 of these holders with the intent on putting them behind my seat. When I installed them they seemed to work great. When I read reviews I saw people complain about how the screws would come loose and they weren't a great water bottle holder. But I had to give it a shot myself. After I installed them and went for a ride, I put empty bottles in them and found them to work great. I left the bottles empty not thinking a full bottle would make a difference. Come race day, I had loaded my full bottles in the cages and about 10 miles in the rubber triangle piece holding the sides together ripped in half and I lost one of the bottles. By the time I finished my 25 mile race, my second cage triangle had ripped and my bottle fell out while I was walking my bike back to my rack. So I would not recommend using these cages for a behind the seat due to the construction of how the sides are pinched together. I did not try putting them on my crossbar, and maybe that is the only place they were intended to be used.

    Great cage, needs minor mods

*by M***. on Reviewed in the United States on July 19, 2018*

I bought these in 2014 and again in 2018; so: they last about four years of hard use before something goes wrong, like the rubber part detaching. This is fine in my book: they look good and are superb value. However, as others have pointed out, the paint will come off and mark your bottles: horrible! I have gotten around this by sticking small strips of velcro (industrial strength adhesive) on the interior (see photo). This seems to work very well. You can't see the velcro when there is a bottle in the cage. Tip: use the fluffy part of the velcro, not the hooked side. If cost is no object you will probably want to look elsewhere but if -- like me -- your riding is on a budget, these are a great choice.

    Lighyweight. Looks great. Easy install.

Quick shipping (PRIME). This product looks amazing and I honestly thought the package was empty it's so light! I currently have a bottle that's a little heavy in place, but I'm not a competitive rider so I don't care... I do know it holds the bottle just fine even with the additional weight.
