I am taking International Taxation with Professor Steines at New York University School of Law, and read this over the summer as a quick introduction to get my bearings. The topics are well-organized, and are concise without being too curt. You can read the book straight through, or just read the chapters as you need them.Professor Steines, I should note, recommended this volume as a "good explanation of very basic principles." For a slightly more advanced introduction to the material, Professor Steines recommended Lawrence Lokken's "Fundamentals of International Taxation." He also spoke highly of Joseph Eisenberg's book on the subject, published by Foundation Press. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This will be a great way to fill in the gaps in my notes ... *by M***5 on Reviewed in the United States on April 8, 2015* This is a really helpful supplement to go along with a problem-based international tax class. However, not many practical examples are included (the author has address the intention in the beginning.) If you have already known about international taxation, the book is a good summary to help connect the basic logic and concepts.
