    A helpful memoir of a difficult disease

I want to thank the author for sharing her experience with HD. It helps to read another's account of living a life affected by this disease--as fully and happily as possible. We are also determined, as she and her family appear to be, to be mindful that the point is: to be thankful for life, to watch for, and be ready to receive life's joys and blessings in the midst of the work. I am hopeful that we will meet future challenges with courage and grace, as she has. (As for how often to visit the ill spouse--no one can know the cost of these visits to you & your children but yourselves. God bless you.) My heart goes out to her, to my daughter, who is also a mother of children at risk, and to any who find themselves living these challenges.
