I loved these tights so much though that I immediately bought 2 more pair when the price was right. My first run in them was amazing shaving 1:35 off my best 5k run! And I am barely sore from running in these compared to just shorts! So I am completely buying into the claims of compression gear. I'm so thankful for the cooler weather forcing me into wearing something over my legs, and I never expected to be this enthralled with an article of clothing. I ordered a pair of the A400 in medium. At first, before putting them on I was a little skeptical becasue they looked small for my body size. However, after wearing them I understand why Skins size the A400's the way they do. Yes, they will compress you lower body but they feel wonderful. The design of these tights fit the body without feeling awkwardly tight and no bunching of material. No discomfort. There is a proper pouch for my penis to fit into and it doesn't move around while working out hard. The material is smooth, soft and has a nice feeling against the skin. Once set in place they don't move or fall down. They really have a look of quality.Are the tights see through? Well, kind of but your private area isn't going to be all on display because this section has a thicker material. The bum area can show some skin tone when you bend over to do squats but there is a muted tone to the material. It's hard to describe. If you wear a nude colored thong, no one will be able to tell and that's about all you would want to wear under these tights. Wearing much more than a thong would impact the comfort because these tights are meant to be extremely form fitting. No, I do not wear shorts over my tights because this defeats the purpose of the tights moving with the body in the first place. Working out in tights like the A400's feels different than wearing traditional baggy pants. It feels apart of you and it is just simply better in every way.Hands down these are the best feeling and fitting tights I have ever used. The Skins A400 are really designed for people that workout with a decent amount of exertion and this is when you will reap the benefits. I liked them so much I bought a second pair. I was reluctant to get them because they were more than I planned to spend, but wowwy, wow, wow! My husband LOVES them for playing basketball. He is very athletic, and has unfortunately, had multiple injuries and surgeries to his leg, knees and ankle. He said he feels so much better wearing these. They worked way better than the other two brands we tried (Under Armour and Nike). Yes, the cost was more than I wanted to spend, but they are well worth it.
