Considering that laptops don't come with a directional aerial, it seemed worth trying and Wise Tiger also freely showed the tech that's inside it was a good selling point. Although it didn't quite sort things out but did improve it a bit, the software does monitor signal strength, something I've missed in successive versions of Windows and in combination with a Range Extender has proved to be a good combination so far.
